So Find 7 user, what are some of those "problems" u face with the phone? I tried checking out at gsm arena but there seems to be no much disadvantages (I heard they have update to help increase the standby time.)

Would like to find out more before making a decision. THanks for helping!

From what i see online in forums, a lot of people are dissatisfied with ColorOS, saying how much it drains the battery and it runs 4.3 and how slow oppo is bringing the updates. Many tried flashing to custom rom but got lots of problems. Personally, i dont have any problems, satisfied with coloros and it's actually quite fast. :):)

TBH, 90% of the time are user problems.& Color os OTA updates from v1.2.0i to v1.2.3i in just 1.5 mths. Now how many andriod phone company does 3 os updates within 1.5 mths?

Nope, M1 only sell 7a. Find 7 you have to buy from retail shops one, i dont remember any of the carriers bringing in one.

M1 offers find 7 contract at $318. But only through 'THE HANDPHONESHOP'. I think I rather buy without contract when their oppo official suntec city shop opens.

Kitkat or not I guess the major concern here is how stable and user friendly the coloros is, not about doing the kitkat race. Andriod L is also coming up. Oppo might just skip kitkat & go straight to L or whatever the final name is called.

Today F7 could b purchase frm their authotised dealers which RRp @ $719.
Charm the dealers for any freebies or discount for other stuff.

For those whom wants to sign/renew with contract, no issue.
Juz find it funny that the G3 (yes...not so great as F7, but another well made product), is lower with the same plan?

color os is fine...just choose a jb theme and looks more pro. Its an android device. If color Os is poor, applied ilauncher or miui express to hv a more "i"look. Custom rom installation is pretty similar as in other brands. No kne says Cina brand is ez

there are 4 updates. 2 of which ar 200mb++ while another 2 90mb+?
one thing for sure, Oppo heard the issue and correct it. Many ppl might felt that its better to be correct at 1st time but sure it beats ignoring us.

true. What we want is a stable rom. To run kitkat with ART might still hv apps incompatiable. Blame Oopo or Google?

This one is Oppo's fault though. They released a 4.4.2 update yet?

Single Sim.
Ex-7A user, the battery life damn lasting. (Coming from Nexus 5 to 7A previously)

Yea, so far im satisfied with the battery life. Even though not as long as G3, im still able to have like 20-30% after i reach home, which im okay. Somemore the VOOC charger damn awesome, if im going out at night , i just let it charge get ready and it will be 70-80%...:D:D

Yea one thing for sure, oppo is pushing out updates regularly. There's like 4 updates in like 2 months, which is good enough already. People are just being impatient and pesky wanting the latest software and best of everything. I dont really understand why people want to 4.4 kitkat so much, except for some UI tweaks which is not significant.

There's still colorOS 2.0 which oppo will be bringing in the future.
