I encounter the same. I think got a way to make it work.

When joining the game, I don't open the minimized window, instead I wait for it to open itself. Not sure if u know wad i mean.

as i said before
set it to borderless mode
it helps alot
also give it high cpu priority

Yup, thats what i been doing.. when it open itself means it will be sucessful.. normally i will just see it open at the tab then auto close after awhile

set it to borderless mode
it helps alot
also give it high cpu priority
