Been a month exactly since I ported out of Changi Mobile. My scammer call frequency has gone back to normal --- only 2 so far in a month. Thankfully, porting out of CM has resolved the scammer call issue for me.
you know i know what is the root cause of the scam calls ;)

got a new number of cmlink and no spam calls so far. hmm

nope, terminated it. thankfully it is a spare line
Pity you terminated it.

If you had ported it out instead, it might have been a bit more objective - whether the same number still gets hits from spammers.

Tried twice. A week apart. Both times failed.

Tried contacting their customer service but no reply.

Feeling like I'm held ransom for my number. Haha

Don't really understand, tried twice means? porting over to a new telco is done by the new telco which u signed up with, what do you mean by tried twice. If can't the new telco should be able to let u know the reason.

Giga allows porting-in request on a later date.
After my first request failed. I tried it another week later.

Giga's failure message was to check with my current Telco why they rejected the port-in request.

But perhaps I should try asking Giga instead, since CM doesn't reply.

New telco would not be able to provide you an answer to a failed port-in. They would always advise you to consult your current telco due to Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
