just collected my vivifi today, will try and feedback here. I'm using for private hire driving purpose, constant data needed on the road, CM issue quite obvious and constant

certainly, in term of stability: singtel > starhub > m1...

As much as I like SingTel, driving for PHV on M1 was pretty good and much better than SingTel mvno. Try it out and see how it goes?

Yes collected the card trying for next two weeks. I've no issue with Giga previously, only CM frequents network issues when network bar seems full. Wanna see if it's the network issue or others like phone problem.

M1 network cant match Singtel.
But if you are always connected to Wifi home or office.
Then M1 still workable.

Just putting this here. I've been receiving more spam calls after I've ported out of Changi Mobile than while I was with it.

Now with Vivifi.

i port out long ago.... CM CMI with airplane and spam
I think you're missing the point. I did not get spam calls since Nov, so 2-3 months without spam until I ported out from CM to Vivifi.

There's now increased spam call activity on my number.

When someone wants to promote Brand X, no matter what u say about Brand A, they would just shun your comments and say Brand X is better, even if the information they put is false.

No point arguing mate, just ignore and move on.

Those that know this is a form of advert, they would ignore too.

I just port over a m1 line to changi mobile. Everything is perfectly smooth, manage to book a next day delivery slot on signup, receive the SIM card during the day and port over successfully during midnight. Until now everything work normally.

Disgusting!
Stop promoting your company vivifi. Ya la one of the worst in retaining customers under their family / share plans.

You mean the caller call you using your telco (cm) account number or handphone number? If you switch they still able to call your number, what’s make it so special they don’t dare to right number on vivifi?

Or vivifi so special got extra filters to filter out spam calls? Did vivifi become more advance than singtel? A solution that imda is looking to block scams.

try this game elsewhere. Like your family, friends or relatives to support you la. Beg them to sign

We still have others singtel wing like zero1, zym, gomo and cmlink. Have u ever mention their pros?

Ps: I don’t mean vivifi isn’t great, they need to do more to retain customers instead.

I'm not sure what your beef is, but I'm just pointing out that it's probably not due to Changi Mobile as many here so quickly blamed if you follow through.

I am not saying that any telco has extra filters, but if you scroll back a few pages and read, the implication is that many were claiming that other telcos have filters, but Changi did not. My post was anecdotal, but to point out the experience of receiving spam calls is no diferent no matter what the telco is. It's on the spammers, not the telcos.

So I believe you've completely missed the point of my post, which was a made as a refutation of the idea that "Changi Mobile = spam. Port out = automatic no spam" - I am defending Changi Mobile here with that false idea that many users here claim is what they are doing. Besides, who would posit a negative experience after porting as a form of promotion? It makes no sense.

And your first allegation is patently false. I don't work for any telco. I work in the social services sector. :s22: That's why I move around a lot because clients/patients across in various parts of the island.

I think he mixed you up with some other guy in the forum, the one that always take any chance possible to attack M1's infrastructure, while promoting VIVIFI / SingTel's infrastructure, totally disregarding any context.

Everybody has their own experiences to share. I personally preferred m1 coverage for many years because m1 is the only one that has coverage when I got my new house 5 years ago. I had a really bad experience with singtel over 10 years ago that I am afraid of singtel network. Currently have both m1 and singtel lines and never observe any difference in coverage, in fact both have the same blind spot at my house carpark. I have never heard anybody complain about coverage about the 3 traffic lights, only wary of TPG as my dad's TPG line is really slow when downloading stuffs.

Yes, everyone's experience differs.

I have complains on all 4 carriers. Doesn't mean I should use any and every chance possible to attack all of them. Also, there must be some context that triggers any comments.

However, for that particular person, anything also can relate to VIVIFI and/or M1 and its MVNOs. Even if the chat was not about any of those carriers. It is likely that the person is affailiated with VIVIFI, possibly working with the carrier and undermine everyone else.

I won't mention who specifically, but if you know who, great.

I suspected as much. I can accept it was a mistaken identity, though it would be nice if he could also acknowledge it. Friendly fire is very painful. :s13:

my apologies firesong.

I got annoyed by people trying to promote one certain brand affiliated to himself.
