[Official] DVB-T2 USB/PCI-E/PCI TV Tuner Thread

I have progDVB and it was the best i have gotten, before NPvr, however it is not always stable. Somedays or most days when i launch it, it detects the channels but no video..for all channels and the two tuners. Even my hauppauge card also.

The last when i used TBSViewer, i could get anything out of it.

Im on Win7 x64 as well.

SmartDVB sounds good. I will try it!

DVBViewer is good, but how to make the prog incl the episode title in the name ah?

* simple software with basic functions only - watch, record, scheduler, pip, etc
* key in freq 522000 and end freq 610000, then scan range if unable to find channels using complete scan

how to make the EPG time zone to Sg~? i already selected HK region but the time on the EPG are out~

I did not buy after LxIxVxE mentioned does not support local DVB-T2.
Why the shops in SLS selling this AVERTV USB when it does not support.

IMHO perhaps got grounds to complain to CASE? It is only natural for customers to assume that a product on sale locally claiming to support DVB-T2 is able to view LOCAL DVB-T2 channels isn't it? Else it has no business being available on sale in stores and misleading endusers.....

If i were looking for DVB-T2 tuners for PC to work with Singapore DVB-T2 FTA channels as of now have to order from overseas and TBS ones appear the best bet

cyberactive: will expect to reach around mid-October
Price will range around from SGD$149 to $169

agenuine: pending for approval. wil start to sell once approved. all those r of old version, hav been recall back to flash new firmware.

so hav to wait for gd news from their fb..

Just received my TBS5220 USB stick yesterday. Bought from the site recommended by bros in this thread.


Yes, it works; can receive all the MediaCorp channels.
Take note that Channel U, CNA, and Okto are not HD yet.
The rest such as Channel 5, 8, Suria, Vasa are HD.
HD channels are smooth. However having intermittent audio gaps with the bundled TBSViewer app.
Besides DVB-T2, the stick also supports DVB-T. I am able to receive these channels as well.

Using an indoor antenna that was placed outside window (west coast area)
Before this, I have a DVB-T stick which can only view 5,8, CNA and 5 HD.
