Based on dividend's warrior recommendation and bought into this share today before the run...

Not sure why people are so excited about this all of a sudden. But for those who are looking at trailing distributions, I have to point out that the last two quarters' distributions include the one-time gain from divesting the Adam Road property. Once that capital gain is fully disbursed, the quarterly distribution will be about 1.6 cents. At the current price this is a yield of 7.15%. I believe this is a high for First REIT.

Correction: Of course, I meant, this yield is a low for First REIT.

yeah u are right. but likely they may do a rights issue or to buy more hospital.

the management want to build up 2 bil in hospitals in the next 5 years.

Their business in singapore is Healthcare Nursing Home in 3 areas. Thus i dont think can profit much right? Indonesia econ so good meh?

u have no idea how good indo is...... its the best country in terms of stock market growth in the last 10 years.

Why would you sell? If you are even thinking of selling, it must mean that you bought it at a lower price, which means your yield is corresponding higher. So never be tempted by short-term gain --> unless you can buy into another share that offered you even better yield that what you are getting out of First.

maybe going to do acquisitions... will be interesting to see if they fund with debt or equity...
