Thanks CBN2977 for the comparisons. Btw all the new batch of FP come with 14 James Street tag instead of 24 West Street (been discussed in this thread before)

Different between M120 and M12...

1. M12 more longer around 1 inches than M120 & but M120 more width 0.5 inches than M12

2. M120 ( 14 James Street)

M12 ( 24 West Street)

source or csb bro :)

im gona gv a very rhetorical answer but google. Yes google/wikipedia isnt actually the best source. Bt we're nt writing a thesis for a phd here. If u type 'lv ykk' or 'coach ykk' for eg u will get a ton of guides showing hw to spot fake lv/coach stuff. Yes 1 article might nt prove anyth bt if a tonne of it says that its right it would be ignorant of anyone to ignore it. Some articles go as far as saying that lv uses ONLY ykk zips. Bt if anyone feels very free can ask lv directly ah.

Nt saying all fp stuff made wif ykk zip. Bt ykk IS the worlds zip manufacturer. And its nt a cheap china brand btw. Its japanese. Oh juz an intersting thing to do. Im in my car right nw typing this and i decided to look around for stuff wif zips. Out of the 4 stuff i found, incl my mums guess bag and my topman pants.", 3 uses ykk zips. The other one nT using d ykk zip is a pasar mlm coin pouch. Actually before i never noticed that ykk is everywhr till i started looking. Lol.

dear rahman,

I certainly cannot tell if these are fake of not. but i will like to comment on the closeup of the zippers as this is very misleading. i suppose the close up of the zippers was to focus on the YKK zips.

However based on my research and personal prowling of authorised fred perry dealers in SG, for example the one at ION, if u look at their products wif zippers, there are quite a few products using the YKK zip.

Just FYI YKK is the worlds largest zip manufacturer and brands such as Prada, Gucci, LV etc uses these zips.

I am in no means saying that these bags are real. Im just saying that the picture focusing on the zips is misleading coz authentic FPs do use YKK zips. =)

Not misleading at all as Rahman is certain that 99% of the authentic FP bags does not have 'YKK' zippers. (See below quotes...)

And yes, you're right that YKK is the worlds largest zip manufacturer.

I am amazed how they can produce such 1:1 replica, paying attention to small details like the embossed button. The golden logo is 100% similar in shape and size!

I shall provide some pics of my black and orange shoulder bag..
one difference is the zip is not YKK, haha, but maybe they use diff zip for different models?
and the fake's buttons are not very shiny.
