Harlow all! Hermes noob here!
Most Hermes buckles that I've seen have this small logo, think is the trademark logo or something printed next to the Hermes words on the top side of the buckle. This Hermes belt that I'm intending to purchase doesn't have this logo next to the Hermes words, dude told me the logo depends on the model and color of the buckle. The buckle is polished silver and purchased in 2012. Any chance the dude trying to pull a fast one on me?
Thanks for the help guys!![]()
don't have? fake

Maybe you want to share who's the seller?
Why not you go to the Hermes boutique and see, or you can ask the SA. That one confirm plus chop.
Quite surprised the seller highlighted that part, usually will just show pictures and hope nobody knows.
You have pictures of the belt?

ya lor if want to confirm then best go to boutique ask yourself
but my hermes does have the logo too
i guess is their stamp of genuine
i also curious too no stamp means no original?
The little square next to Hermès is the "gold-plated" hallmark and is found on gold-plated buckles. The silver-palladium plated buckles do not have this mark engraved.
Frankly, authenticity cannot be based on engraved markings on the buckle alone. The new 2013 batch of buckles have different engravings on them.
