I am still sourcing for my ceiling fans, most are either RF or IR right? If RF can aqara do it?Aqara m2 hub can learn and emit IR.
Is your fan using IR remote?
I can toggle my fan speed and lighting with a wireless aqara opple switch

in this case you will have alot of apps? to link /control different devices?Aqara M2 can only do IR.
I am getting another Tuya universal IR/RF controller as a few of my fans are on RF.
I am not sure if I can integrate Tuya controller with Aqara or not though. Need to try it out.
By any chance, are you using Vida by Fermax provided by your condo developer?Hi, may i know how you check if the z-wave devices is compatiable with hubitat?
eg. I have Vida by Fermax z-wave controller to control my aircon units and the dooya motor for ziptrack. How to check if it is able to connect to hubitat? Any specs to look out for?
I use Aqara app the most, for mi home(IP cam, robo vacuum), tuya(wifi heater, smart plug to turn appliances)in this case you will have alot of apps? to link /control different devices?

Hubitat provides a list of compatible devices, you can do a search on "List of Compatible Devices - Hubitat Documentation". That said, it does not necessarily mean your device isn't supported if it's not on that list, especially for z-wave devices.
For my second home using Home Assistant (HA), I have Dooya zip track integrated with HA and it works out of the box. I have the Vida aircon controller as well but didn't have the time to play around with it.

I recently added Google home but I haven't configure Aqara to work with Google home. I saw those D1 switches appearing in my Google home but I can't seems to control them. Switches didn't turn on when triggering them in Google home app. Probably need some fine tuning but I have yet to do it.
Yes, the Vida was provided by the developer but most likely not using their system as not very flexible and expensive.
Is it difficult to link the devices for habitat?

Nothing complicated. The pairing is quite similar across the home automation hubs I have experience with - Vera, Hubitat and Home Assistant.
Local control.
Smart switch is just on off. Think your normal switch with a remote control. To control smart lighting at home, do u need smart lights or smart light switches? Or both? What are the key differences between the two? If my primary need is to control the lighting at home (%brightness, on and off, etc) do I go for smart lights or smart light switch?
Smart switch has local dimming control for lights as well, it can control on, off and brightness. I say if you just want simple brightness control, then get a smart switch, smart LED controllers offer better granularity, like color, tone, brightness and some can respond to music.Smart switch is just on off. Smart lights depending on the light itself, can allow u to turn on/off, color, brightness all these. But the main switch has to be on.
was the usual types of drivers to buy for smart dimming? is it those 0-10V type?Smart switch has local dimming control for lights as well, it can control on, off and brightness.
