From a jailbreaker's perspective, it doesn't seem worth the upgrade, it only takes a few seconds to tap on the screen to bring up the pass-code screen anyway.

I tried again, woke my screen up and the taptics activated (because covered with mask so Face ID can't work). Then the top part said to swipe up to unlock.

Yea still need to swipe up to unlock. It’s like the normal gesture for unlocking the device and it will try (again) to unlock via Face ID.

If it detects there’s something blocking like wearing a mask, the passcode keypad will immediately appear.

EDIT: to try this out without wearing a mask (at home) you can use one hand to cover your nose and mouth to stimulate, and use the other hand to try to unlock.

All right, so it’s not detecting my mask as currently unlocking the phone (keying passcode) as the same as on 13.4.1.

Hmm, after keying in my Passcode a few times with the mask on, now my phone unlocks with my mask on. Did this happen to anyone?

okay, let me clarify. I think it depends on how high you wear the mask. At least for me, if the mask is covering the entire nose bridge, it doesn't unlock. But if it's at the level where is at the tip of the nose (still covering the nostrils), it unlocks for me. I guess your mileage may vary.

Found an undocumented fix in ios 13.5, previous problem of wifi assist turning on automatically introduced in ios13.4 and still not fix in ios 13.4.1 (for certain users only) this is confirmed fixed in ios 13.5 at least for my case.

Not at the moment, TraceTogether needs to be updated to be leveraging on the new API before Exposure Notification gets activated on iOS.

They can’t because part of your face is cover up which defeats the purpose of authentication.

Ya I tried it seems no difference if you are wearing a mask and unlocking the device before this update and after this update.

When scan the passcode id does not appear together with the swipe up feature giving u the option to quickly key in your passcode. Failed update
