I find Apple really ridiculous! The iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch 4G has an A4 onboard but the iPhone 4 get iOS 7 but iPod touch 4G dont get,which I find it very ridiculous! I spent my money on that product and they are not giving support!I think I shall get a nexus next time,I can get timely update and the nexus specs are far more superior to Apple products and the difference in pricing is a lot!

iPod touch 4G is 256mb ram as opposed to iPhone 4 with 512mb ram.
As it is the iPhone 4 is lagging like mad on iOS7. Your iPod touch is just not going to run at all

It's not only about the chip though. The iPT4 has only half the RAM, a low quality camera and a really bad version of the Retina Display, plus maybe some others.

don't get the connection between ipod touch and nexus? besides not the same comparing ip4 to the latest nexus?

Didn't experience any but battery is very bad. Keeps draining even when listening to music. Only can last me half a day. Played with it for 1 day and I'm now back to iOS 6.1.4.
