Last year the Plus model very fast OOS one, and still can't resell much but this year I still can jolly well go back and fro to browse before ordering.

As the current situation, I believe only Jet Black can sell for very high price as only Telcos have very limited stocks on 16th. Black maybe good too as new color

ya lo. so tmr i'm trying my luck see can get a set of jet black to flip.:s13:

i'm contented with my arriving soon matte black:D

Next year very high possibility iPhone will have OLED Screen. Its also anniversary sure big improves.

:s22:

It will be interesting.

A crazy thought went to my mind.

Maybe apple will release a new anniversary iPhone next year with high end specs but with the same old external design, feel and look of the original iPhone as "collector" item for apple aficionados. :s13::s13:

Waiting for Apple to introduce iris scanner that can be used with ease and seamlessly.

Without the need to.... press a button to switch the screen on, AND THEN slide to activate recognition....

Using gyro meter (Apple's raise to wake feature) ;)

Can't stand how unfriendly iOS counterpart offerings are.

Lol of course its not that user friendly lah its the first time an iris scanner is on a phone.. wait for next gen and apple userd will be jealous. Rmb how the first iPhone cant even install external apps and there isn't even an app store? First gen products all just there for experimenting purposes only..

Any idea why iris scanner will be useful as compared to touch ID?

I dunno why this feature is needed.

Apple is quite accurate in its delivery as stated on the orders.

Guess those whose scheduled delivery on 16th have the status changed to preparing for shipment. The question is the time of delivery on that day. Few years back, I was at home for the whole day and the order was delivered to me at 10pm :s22:

I noted in my calendar...

Not going to be useful for most la. But useful in certain situations for me and my wife.

When riding my MTB I use full finger gloves. Cannot use any fingerprint scanner without taking off gloves. Had to disable the fingerprint before a ride. Now just use iris scanner when riding. Slower than fingerprint but faster than removing gloves to use it....

For my wife, her skin is super dry. All fingerprint scanners hardly ever work with her fingers. Even the ones at ICA. So she used to use pattern lock. Now got iris scanner, she uses it cuz for her, iris scanner is faster. Just pick up the phone and it scans her eye. She don't wear glasses though, so it's fast. For me with glasses or sunglasses the thing takes about 1-2s longer.

But, it's still going to be a gimmick to most users. Harder to use and slower than fingerprint scanner under normal conditions.

So you are saying that the iris scanner is faster than using pattern lock or typing your passcode in?

I tried the note 7 iris scanner
- had to be a certain distance for it to work
- took sometime to authenticate and unlock but maybe like you say glasses took sometime.

I am 90% sure if you have to look at the scanner for it to work. Yes if you use pattern lock or passcode you also have to look at the screen but I am pretty sure most people here do not need to look at their screen for more than 1 second just to do that since it's muscle memory already
