Btw, did apple slow down the fingerprint scanner? I rmb the fingerprint scanner on my 6s+ always faster than any of my Samsung. But this time around the 7+ seems slower. I also notice that even if we have the screen on, we can't just tap to unlock the phone? Have to press down or else nothing happens.

Enable rest finger to open from setting, general, accessibility, home button. Then it will be the same as iOS 9 method.

The shiny black seems to be the favourite this time. But was wondering. For those of you who slap on a casing, got diff between matt and shiny black meh? I mean if you use naked of course lah. Looks and even feels diff but if you use casing, who can tell whether its matt or black?

Can use a transparent case like PS.

Hi all, is it just me or that the sound quality is degraded?

Plugged the Lightning Earpods into the SE and it sounded deeper and tighter.
Used the 3.5mm adapter with 3.5mm Earpods, also gives the same issue.

So I doubt it's the Lightning Port, but the phone itself?
Since on SE, using Lightning Earpodst sounded just the way it is when using 3.5mm Earpods.

Anyone else facing this issue?

Yup. Using the adaptor makes the SQ worse for me. Guess they really want people to go wireless.

disappointed with the 10x zoom, 1x - 2x is still ok as its optical, anything higher till 10x, its digital zoom, very grainy in low light. its just like zooming on a normal iphone cam

If wired is alr bad wireless will be even worse. If wireless can make the SQ better then we have the rights to sue apple for purposely degrading their products to sell more of their products (aka beats wireless headphones/airpods)

All the "new features" apple put in the iphone 7 look like gimmicks.

- 2x zoom underperforms.
- OIS on one camera only.
Remove headphone jack but SQ becomes worse (when they claim will improve SQ (when it really doesnt lol)).
- Water resistance up to 1m for 30 mins (worse than S7)
- Battery life still the same even though claims to be improved
- Screen with more vibrant colours but iphone 7 still dont have 1080p screen (and the samsung S7 have 1440p amoled screen, even more vibrant colours and higher res too)
- "Dual" speakers doesn't sound good cos the bottom speakers point downwards
- finger print sensor is still the same as 6S
- People moving to gorilla glass 5 they still using last gen ion exchange glass
- Remove headphone jack claiming no space but other OEM can fit more in less space.
- Design is same

Only good things:
- Solid state home button
- cpu and gpu improvements

Seems like we aren't the only.ones feeling the SQ is worse using adaptor. But from their results, most should not notice the drop in SQ. But to get best SQ, seems like better buy a headphone with lightning connector rather than use the included adaptor.

My battery life does seem abit better than my 6s+. Camera is improved IMO. At least those going for the cheaper iPhone 7 will get OIS now.
