just to check for those using whatsapp on old phone. If i sync my apps to itunes.. factory restore ,my old phone . . load my backups to the new phone, will my whatsapp chat history restore there or all empty?

It will all be there.

The thing is i already turned on backup in whatsapp itself.. But always 0% uploaded.. Zzz

ip6+ ios10.0.2 backed up via iTunes. Restore from that back up for the ip7+. whatsapp messages / chat groups are the same as where they previously were after validating the whatsapp when first starting it.

For me, I chose 'Chat Backup-Back Up Now' on old Iphone just before I inserted SIM card into IP7+. Then installed WhatsApp on IP7+ & all chat history appeared.

should be fine as long as the WhatsApp is up to date to ensure app data is compatible with the one on your new phone

doesn't matter.
When I switched from iPhone 6+ to 6s+, my iOS is running on 8.4 on my 6+, then transfer to my 6s+ is on iOS 9.

Hi all , I jus restore my stuffs to new ip7+ but there is one app that did not restore to the new ip7+. How come? Anybody encounter b4? Btw, this app is not able to find in App Store.. so does it mean it can't b sync to new ip7+?

Manually install via your purchase history within App Store. In your App Store, the last tab which is updates, then purchase history, search for that app. All apps which u installed or purchase before will be there even if the app no longer available for download in the main section.

check phone only when necessary, use during commute or free times, always run on battery saver mode even from 100%, turn off notifications for least/unused apps, turn off location for apps that don't need it especially weather app, off background refresh settings

iphone 7 plus serious issue

just want to let you guys know that i received a phone from singtel yesterday by delivery.. and the phone is serious issue. it's a iphone 7 plus 256 rg. anyway issue is the hissing sound is loud. and even when not on apple logo can hear. please check all your new phones. when you back up from icloud or download some apps. mine even have the sound when i am on a call. do a video recording in your room, play back the video, the annoying sound is everywhere. there are even slight movement on the phone at the back, like as if something is knocking each other.

another issue happen this morning, i off my phone as was advised by apple to off it for safety reasons. as i need to get a contact number, hence on it. when i on it, a part of the screen on the right turn black and the top it's very pix-elated. one box one box of very very white shade.

called singtel after service and told them. they say can go apple for one to one exchange. as i do not want a replacement set. as replacement set means, the phone is different imei from the box you originally had. and the serial number will also write as replacement. hope apple will give one to one exchange. spoke with cco and was told that other customer also had this issue which they go to apple for one to one exchange. just bring your service agreement. hope they have stock for this model in brand new.

just a update, please check you phone. those with no issues. you are very lucky.

I jus tried to search at the purchase history that app I wan is also not there. I think no way to download that app anymore.. sad.. but last time I'm able to sync to my new iPad but now unable to sync to new ip.. why ?

Just thought I would share a funny yet quite annoying story with you guys. Was provided express replacement service by Apple for my Black 7plus that had hissing noise in video. End up receive Silver one. Call them and they ask me return silver. Just returned it today to DHL. Once they receive, they will setup another exchange and send Black. Hais Apple..

Just call them and describe your problem to them and request for ERS. They will ship a refurbished unit in a replacement to you.

Because the app I wan is can't b found at App Store anymore.. so I'm not sure isit because the app can't b found in App Store so no history...
