For me, I hold them and average them if price dropped too low. As long as the stock you buy doesn't go bankrupt, there's always a chance it will rebound. :s12:

Then in the meantime Jiak simi? Because ML doesn't have a full time job lei. His dividend will confirm shrink as well right?

Ml, can I know what's your plan when a big event happens and the market stays cui for the next 3-4 years? Your portfolio shrinks to <50% of its original value. What's your plan at that time? Just wondering..

Highly impossible for that to happen. Even if it did happen, then the deflationary wave will hit most people first. MasterLeong will still be a Master, better off than most. Shareholders will win again.

Haha tats why nv fully deploy your warchest out. Must keep some inside for market crash just in case. :s13:

my dividends per year will only keep going up

my current passive income per month is around 1.5k from stocks and 500 from ssb

2k passive income, expenses only 1k... so the balance 1k keep to grow stock portfolio ...

i have not include any possible capital gains

basically

STAY CALM and COLLECT DIVIDENDS

during 2015-2016 bear... my portfolio fell to a low of 250k level.. I also hold and ride it out... now recovered to near 320k value already

that's why its important to hold SOLID companies with PROVEN TRACK RECORD of at least 5-10 years

you will know that even recession comes you will not be scared as the company will NOT GO BANKRUPT and will be able to maintain earnings and dividends

cheers
