Side track abit, does anybody in this forum knows who owns Singapore's energy companies for water (PUB) and electricity (SP Power)? Iirc my lecturer told me these 3 countries: China, Aus and France.

Not really sold by government but what was transpired was that Sinkie's energy companies are not solely owned by the Garmen. And then the 3 countries are mentioned. I went to look up PUB's website for the annual report and within was 40% owned by AUS.

PUB is a stat board leh. :s11:

SP is 100% owned by Temasek Holdings

Both under temasek if i am not wrong
SP power just a middle man
Energy assets all run by private companies like KC and SCI

PUB is government.

Sinkie energy companies are all privatised already. EMC is fully owned by Australia company IIRC? Or 49% or 51%? Could not remembered.....EMA is still government. Either way, the whole industry is regulated and governed by Singapore Statutory - Electricity Act.
