sti 2 year chart

2015 april was peak at 3500 level

once touch 2017 April, will be 2 full year of bear... historically there has never been longer than 24 month bear... read it from somewhere before... sorry no sauce

2016 jan was bottom at 2500 level

took near 8 months to crash from 3500 to 2500 level

from march 2016 to now year end of 2016... STI mostly limping along 2800 level.... from chartist view... 2800 can be considered as CONSOLIDATION PHASE..... after end of this consolidation phase... we should see a BREAK OUT!!!!!!!!

I sold UOB liao.....keeping OCBC and DBS bcos of their greater focus on expanding their private wealth management business! The performance has been pretty robust! :D

It is even considered the Jewel in DBS' Crown! :s12:

Yes, asset management is super cash cow
Like how ara management property
Ocbc and dbs manage client's investment and take a yearly fee
Recurring income helps to support quartely earnings hehehehe
Investors also worry less about loan books

Ocbc and dbs only half their income from loans
The rest from other income such as asset management which is less risky hehehehe
