Tks. haha. I'm prepared to miss the boat on this one. For others Reits I have lower TP, some almost reaching... just need a push (hopefully after hike). Ppl like me if missed the boat, can only arm dui... cannot come here kbkp if not will kenna shoot up down left right.![]()
for me, my basket of 5 reits gives me about 5.5-6% yield along with an expected DPU growth rate or maybe 3%+
sure.. I could had wait for lower prices.. wait for 6-7% yields or even 7-8% yields... I can wait longer but that increases my risk of missing the boat
if reits now crash 10-20% from here, I am not scared... will still hold and collect my 5.5-6% returns for sure ^_^
I understand and agree on what you said... but I have another POV... if let's say I am prepared to forgo the 6% dividend that I can get by holding 1 year, I have a 1 year time frame to 'time' my purchase. A question which I ask myself... given from now till 1 Dec 2017, what's the probability of its price dropping more than 6%? I can't say for sure, but it is not hard for it to drop 6%. On the other hand, if the price start rising say 10%, then my opportunity cost would then be 16% if I buy immediately after the 10% hike. If I delay more, my loss will be more.
Thinkimg of swapping aims with areit or FLTif u really like industrial assets, i think its ok to hoot areit already
