ur generation no one wants to go civil service but those who go in song song now.. still got pension scheme..

I think it is cos that time those big MNCs and bigger companies offer much better benefits.. companies like ST engineering had like 5-10months' bonus for long serving employees.. even if u were just a lowly worker earning less than 2k

any idea how much at aerospace pays their ntu/nus deg holders who have 10yrs-15yrs workin exp?? and have been in aerspace for 10yrs ?

Sorry this is not attack. This the truth. Your living expenses are on the low side of a normal Singaporean. This is the fact that you shared.

It is good to practice financial prudence but not financial misery. I do go budget travelling and spend on restaurants once in awhile just to enjoy a little bit higher quality of life.

You can choose to continue living the same life but it is hard to find a partner who can tolerate such lifestyle. So it is good to reflect about this.

I kind of agree with mike78 on this. You would be astonished how the maintainence of even a plain jane out there. But I think you are also a person that will share and spend better quality of things with your loved ones.

Retire in Vietnam.
SG$300,000 portfolio go there become VND 4,670,860,000.

Can live like a king, and have endless supply of DNN SYT to piak until up lorry.

Why up lorry? Probably due to too much excitement every night!

But hey, at least can die happy and c0ck fully standing :s13: :s13: :s13:

Yup, collect dividends in SG$, then spend like a king in Vietnam currency.

Most of them can accept or counter their arguments in a matured manner too. Except you.
