OCK is a cash cow imho. Business model is simple and easy to understand. Long queue everyday in spite of increasing prices. No need to splash huge cash on renovation and lease (lease because the space needed is small). Also managed to make some side income from catering. Cost-wise, cannot use FT, but can use cheap aunty labour.

This year dividend yield close to 7~8%.

On the other hand, I would avoid soup restaurant/Jumbo/Challenger/Sakae. You go to their stores and you know business is not good.

Breadtalk looks okay. But the share price had run.

(Vested in OCK, but only very small position).

breadtalk ok because not only breadtalk ok but their other brands also doing well except carl junior.

Whats the outlook for Aims Reit (AAREIT) for now?
Feel like adding more position. I stalk DK Portfolio and saw a huge portion of it in there. :s13::s13:

I not positive on industrial reits over the mid and long term
As SG economy moving away from manufacturing

FY 2016 EPS is 0.04
FY 2016 dividends is 0.06. Out of 0.06, 0.03 from retained earnings, so normalised is 0.03 only.

current price is expensive.
How about vicom? No matter what car still need inspection, but seem like the volume very low and price at 52 low bit still high?

Heng I listened to shifu' wise words and unloaded yesterday at 1.70.

Congrats
As the prices goes down
Means the odds of the deal passing is lower
If fail, ara may crash to 1.50 by mid 2017
If pass, the sadly another good company gone

DW made a big mistake blindly buying at 1.7x

I hold very long as well. Sometimes I trade around my positions.

Wah amazing..... but do you find tracking an issue ...though I still like a lot of other stocks and am monitoring....it can be quite tedious to monitor so many ... i wonder how the others do it... So far, I dun dare touch the US market .... too volatile and I cherish my beauty sleep ...

Jumbo still a lot of people leh. Their profit margins are very good compared to the other F&B companies.

Japan Food has Gross profit margin of 80%, EBIT margin 13%
Sakae has Gross profit margin of 70%, EBIT margin 6%
Soup Restaurant has profit margin of 70%, EBIT margin 2%
Jumbo has Gross profit margin of 60%, EBIT margin 13%

Jumbo strong pricing power and good at cost cutting as well.

Jumbo and BreadTalk got JV for China.

It's a pity I could not get it at IPO...

SGX website can monitor 30 stocks in your watchlist. SGXcafe can monitor 50. iOCBC and SGX mobile app can monitor at least 50. Personally, I think the more stocks you know the more advantage you have.

SGX mobile app is good. It would feed you all the company announcements in your watch list to help you cut down monitoring efforts.

Playing stocks is like playing DOTA in a way. At the minimal, you need to know all the heroes so you can increase your MMR.
