SingTel IPO came with portion to be tendered.
I think the investors paid $4 for each tendered share.

I think it's $3.80...

But that's for non-Sinkie investors...

Sinkie investors need to pay $1.90 only...

With some shares having a 45% discount if brought under ST A scheme...

I think only increase by 40%...

Become 840... :(

Singtel gave twice discount offer,
1st time at 1.90 using cpf
2nd round at 2.00 using cpf and in additional think can buy some 200 shares at 2.00 using cash same time.

Those STA cpf discount offer which hold till now and opt for max shares should have 1610 and collecting dividend throughout these years.

To clarify on my m1 trade, i sold out and realised 3k losses
I mentioned it here before

I then later bought back at near $2 level

M1 is one of my biggest mistakes this year

I am not perfect, not all my trades will make money
But i confidently say that out of 10 picks at least 8 made money
2016 i had good picks like ara glp fcl
Banks and sci kc

I am now sitting on 5% paper losses on reits/telco which is my newer bet... if u want to judge me, come see again by end of 2017

When i bought ara average price 1.20, it fell to a low of 1.01
When i bought dbs average price 15, it fell to a low of 13

Often will have ppl shoot me and say my picks are bad, but in the end i held on and most came out right

I still believe the 5 reits i picked are of the best quality and of good valuations, time will prove it all

Banks i made around 12k, kc/sci i made around 5k
M1 i lost 3k
Dividends collected around 15k

Thats about it for 2016

Best trade i made this year was probably on starhub
Had it since 2009 5000 shares cost near $2
Sold alll 5000 sh at 3.8x and was bashed badly in ssi
Sh crashed and i bought up 8000 avg price near $3
Often must learn to ignore the noise and follow my heart
A decade of investing, i know what to do and learnt not to listen too much to others
