Taking a survey, when you hire a contractor to do the flooring tiles for your flat's living hall and the bedrooms's floorings, do you pass the contractor your new flat's keys and every morning the workers just use your key to open your flat's door and enter WITHOUT you coming down to open the flat's door for them every morning??!

Or you will not pass the contractor your flat's keys and every morning during the revonation period you will come down to open your flat's door for their workers to enter the flat??!

I noticed ppl use locks or bicycle locks to secure their gates. The kind that uses numbers, not lock and key. So maybe u can do that, instead of giving your keys.

Last Queue Number invited for selection of a 4-Room flat in Queenstown under the May 2017 SBF exercise as at 31 October 2017 : 00018

Does this mean that from today till January theres only 18 people selecting a unit?

It means from when the selection started until end of today, there have been 18 numbers called up...

Just use a number lock and don't order anything expensive hoping that nobody will steal it from your bomb shelter.

The “last queue number” refers to the “total number of applicants” served till date.

you can match your queue number against “last queue number” to see how many applicants will be served until your appointment date.

I booked my flat on 2 Oct and status for AHG/SHG also stated hasn’t submitted any application etc. I guess it’s normal? They said for grants need to wait around 2~3 months to approve...

So is it for most flatowners, only for the very first day of renovation in that 1 morning, the flatowners come down to open the door for the workers, but the flatowners do NOT pass the flat's keys to the contractors/workers and it is the duty of the contractor to get their own number lock to lock the gate after his workers finish on the first day and then they open the number lock themselves from the second day's morning onwards?!

I feel should b like tat, cos they also dun want to take extra responsibility in case key lost or got theft.

you should be able to figure how many applicants are in between; multiply the dropout rate to estimate your chance

Ah... My queue number is really weird because I think I applied through MCPS so its CR337 or something.

I think it's not safe to pass the key to them what if they duplicate it?

I'd unlock the main door but lock the gate with a number padlock, so they can just key in the number to unlock. That's what my previous ID did for me.
