Hi all, I got an appointment date at the end of the month, but am wondering if that means there's a confirmed chance I can get a flat?

Appointment date does not equate to a confirmed chance to get a flat. It depends if there are any dropouts.

Oh man.. This is the first time getting an appointment selection. I've tried applying for BTO/SBF for 4 times already.. I thought this would be the time I can finally book a flat

Lets put it this way, what's your Q number vs the number of units? If its like 65/80(of cos for this close you also need to look at the ethnic quotas since not all units are for Chinese, malay etc), and assuming you will take any unit, you can say you confirm will have one. If its 65/50 or something, then it will depend on the dropouts in front of you and if you will take the remaining unit

If your queue number is within the range of flats available, you should be able to get a flat. Subjected to ethnic quota. Whether is your ideal one, is also another question.

If your queue number is out of the range, you might still be able to get a flat. Ideal one, probably not likely. Also depends on the number of dropouts.

When I monitored my area - CCK last year, drop out rate was up to 30%. My queue number was 72 out of 61 units. I could still choose from abit less than 10 units. But left all 2nd floors and 1 6th floor.

So dont give up just yet :)

Just checked myhdbpage. Appt letter and flat list are up. 3 weeks to my flat selection appt. Flat list provided states whether there's OCS. Those with floor finish are stated with FF beside the unit number.

Is yours 2 or 3 room? I understand some forumers here don't see the flat list too. Mine's 4 room. My flat listing link is right below my appt letter link.

Jurong Region Line

Does anyone share the same thought that Jurong Region line should begin at Keat Hong (space near Keat Hong Colours) instead of at CCK mrt? That is also mid point between CCK mrt and Gombak mrt).
Having the station near the intersection of Brickland and Bukit Batok road will also better support the residents at bukit batok, keat hong and bukit panjang?

Ya...getting more and more disappointing each day...
I think cox this time round hdb has extra batch of August Reoffer flats to handle.
In fact applicants of the August reoffer flat are starting to get their appointment dates already whereas our May batch still waiting. :(

As an applicant for both exercises, I have to say that's not exactly correct. I have received appointment dates for both. It really depends which area you applied for.
