Actually based on my experience be there for everything, they will try to impress you if you monitor. I made a huge mistake for e vinyl guys after scolding him for smoking in my apartment, guess what? They hit my door stopper, hit all my door frame, spoil my things as revenge, punctured my escooter in store room.

Anybody do laundry sink in the service yard? Can share how you do it? Put near the washing machine or against wall of toilet?

For 4 room, anybody put 3+2 (L+D) ac instead of sys 4?

For us, we were there when the workers were about to start. But we didn't want to let them have the feeling that we are supervising them. So we asked what they wanted for lunch, left and went around noon time to deliver to them and left again. By the time we went back to our place at 5pm, they had already left. We went last weekend to check on our screeding (before we pay the top-up) and things look fine except for some bubbles (which our ID said is normal). Msg the HDB contractor about the bubbles and he said he will send someone to rectify. Our ID just texted us that he sent someone to take a look and everything looks good.

I think can ask the HDB contractor who liaised with you to rectify for free. Cause after our screeding, the HDB contractor msg us for payment on our top-up. Told him we will check if the screeding is okay first. When we went and check, ours had bubbles and I told the HDB contractor about it. He offered to rectify for us. We haven't take a look yet but our ID said he had sent someone to check and things look good for vinyl flooring to start.

run pipes from the washing machine area to the opposite side. if you dont like the sight of the pipes, you can get your tiler to cover it up

you can buy a laundry sink with rack from taobao

Hi SBF Group, Hv yall Move-in yet?

Has everyone moved in yet? ..I have.

There’s a very ridiculous way they install the service yard door, no attention to details whatsoever.
Imagine if the washer socket is placed on the right, the washer would be placed on e right, hence e door opening should be on e left!
And if there’s space enough for a Dryer why can’t they give us a 2-gang socket point?

There’s also another ridiculous layout, if the basin sink is against e left wall, Shower is on e right wall, and WC is smack right in e Center, so where shd e toilet roll holder be placed? Behind e WC? Far on the Basin Sink left wall?

How’s everyone doing? How about those who got their keys? Share some experience, was e journey smooth or headache?

For those who are collecting/ collected their keys but do not have flooring and on a tight budget for your 1st home, and e estate was developed before 2014 you can try to appeal for smooth floor rendering. This will save u close to 1.6- 2k of your hard earn cash.

For those who are collecting your keys ur Water/Electric will automatically be turn-on for 7days for your defect check.
Pls check ur defect within 7days.

For those who needs some IDs, Aircon, Electrician vendor I do have some I’m satisfied.

Aircon:
Actually u can install your pvc condensation water pipe outside your service yard. I’ve successfully done it, so that means no odd looking pipe in any of your bathroom.

It's been abt a month since I collected keys and defects rectification is giving me a headache. Had some miscom w hdb officer that caused delay. Hdb's contractor also seemed reluctant to do the screeding, saying shld do after hacking wall. Luckily, I'm not in a rush to move in but still rather sian

Which estate is yours pm me I see if my method will work for u to get your screeding and everything fix.
