I have applied the Nov 2022 BTO and I am choosing my unit in 2 weeks. However I applied under MCPS scheme and just realise that I have to bring my mother in law along when selecting the flat or to get her to sign the authorization letter, and some say they can do it on video call and show IC, have to bring photocopy of IC along. But we are not in good term with her and my husband have cut contact with her due to some family complications. And we applied it under her address as the BTO location is just opposite his mum house. Can i just tell HDB that she cannot video call or come? Or can i just go select the unit and tell them to just remove me from this scheme and let go of the grant? I don’t care about the grant, i only want a flat there and we have been bto-ing for 4 years and finally got a good number that is within the amount of unit. Previous times was either unsuccessful or x2-3 over the amount of unit.
