@beano, apologies for the belated response. Thanks for the PM but it looks like the contact may have left Singtel.

I've terminated the miotv 2 yrs ago but singtel doesn't want to take back the box. Nw collecting dust. How do i return it?

from what i know, you have to return the equipment before its terminated. Calling hotline won't terminate it but merely putting up a request.

You can return the equipment to designated singtel shops like causeway point, comcentre etc

Hi tortoise18,

You can return your set-top box (STB) or optical network router (ONR) to any of the following 4 Singtel retail outlets:

Singtel Shop @ Comcentre
Singtel Shop @ Tampines Mall
Singtel Shop @ Causeway Point
Singtel Shop @ Jurong Point
Remember to bring along the set-top box, power adapter, and remote control. For optical network router please bring along the optical network router (ONR) box and power adapter.

Take Note: Singtel Wireless Router and optical network terminal(ONT) is not required for return.

If a third party ( at least 21 years old and above) is returning on account holder’s behalf, they are required to bring the following documents as per below:

• Account holder’s original NRIC/identification card

• The appointed representative’s NRIC/identification card

• A signed authorization letter from the account holder which indicates:

Account holder’s name (as shown on account holder’s NRIC)

Account holder’s NRIC/identification number (please mask out the first 4 digits e.g. SXXXX567A)

Name of the representative (as shown on their NRIC)

The representative’s NRIC/identification number (please mask out the first 4 digits e.g. SXXXX567A)

Indicate that the representative is authorized to return the equipments on behalf of the account holder

Account holder’s signature

Thanks.

Yes, the 2 drama slots + 1 sitcom slot on weekday primetime is on the TVB Jade Ch and also on the yellow button catch up channel .... A few hours later or the next day ..... Their in house Jia Le channel now have a TVB drama block, but broadcast older series (few months ago) ... The Big White Duel promo you saw is for Jia Le.

Dear SingTel. I'm a current SingTel broadband 1 GBps subscriber with my ONR in bridged mode + Asus router. Would I be able to use SingTel TV in this setup with your set-top-box plugged into my Asus router? If so, which router would work? I'm currently using Asus AC88U. If need be, I can change to a different Asus router like the latest WiFi 6 router (RT-AX92U).

Thanks for the help, bro. It used to work with Singtel - Others, but not anymore. It's currently at 'None'. Back in Aug, SingTel technician came down to do the TV installation and couldn't get my Asus to connect with anything but 'None'. Without a Singtel profile under IPTV, i don't think their TV service would work. I'm suspecting it's something to do with the version of their ONR (in bridged mode) that is causing this issue. It used to connect with Singtel - Others. It's non-stop hell grappling with access to sports program now that Starhub has terminated their cable service. I am on their Starhub Go streaming service, but FoxSports don't work with their app. I have Starhub tech support on my speed dial these days :s22:

Don't have any spare modem. I have done a few re-locations over the past few years and each time, they replace my ONT/ONR. I think I will call them up again to ask if they have any clue...

ONT-Asus with 2 Set Top Boxes

Hi guys, can I check if it's possible for me to have 2 Set Top boxes if my ONT is connect to my Asus 86U?

Currently using the Singtel others LAN-IPTV settings. If I wanna get an additional STB, what settings do I need to do in order to make it work?

I believe it is not possible with 3rd party routers if you want to use two or more SingTel TV boxes.

Where to go to return my set-top box and other accessories if I want to terminate the service? Do I still need to call a number? FYI my cable subscription is not under contract.
