Thanks renfred89 for pointing out Singtel Circle, it is our way of offering even more value to our customers who bundle Mobile, Fibre Broadband (comes with Home Line) and Singtel TV.

Learn more about the Singtel Circle here and don't forget to nominate your mobile lines to enjoy the benefits.

But if you have singtel fibre and singtel tv, you can go for singtel circle.. this is damn useful if you want Sunday free data and when you have a few singtel lines to get up to 30%.

Used to have it until I felt singtel tv not as attractive as netflix...

Very true. I have SingTel TV, Fibre and two mobile lines with SingTel. I initially wanted to cut the SingTel TV as well but later I downgraded the package and got a 50% off promotion for 1year contract so I keep it. Will need to check again after contract expires.

Another main advantage is yearly handset upgrade which SingTel claims to be worth S$350, so it translates to about S$14.6 monthly saving as well over 24 months. That is in fact more than offset my SingTel TV charges now. Normally you can only upgrade after 21months.

Please educate your SingTelShop staff to reminder customer they need to nominate their lines, especially for the second line. I was given the wrong info and lost about 9 months of the second line savings. My fault as well as I did not check my bills closely— trusted SingTel too much ...

Hi Singtel, currently my mobile line, my internet fibre is all with singtel, i am interested to take up Singtel tv for EPl coverage and champions league matches also, will the Sport Plus Package at $49.90 cover the 2 stated matches as seeing the bein sports channel in the package. And also will there be any form of cost saving package if I take up the Singtel tv thus making me “fully Singtel” for mobile, internet and TV. Kindly advise thank you!

Hi kenchi,

Thanks for asking.

You can sign up for Nihon Starter at $19.90 monthly, without signing up for any other TV packs.

For your first set-top box, if you choose:
1. set-top box with with DVR feature: $12.90 monthly
2. set-top box without DVR feature: $4.90 monthly
However, we are running a promotion currently offering free 6 months for set-top box with DVR only.

For your second set-top box, which will have to be non-DVR, it will be $14.90 monthly. However, there is an ongoing promotion for the second set-top box at $5.00 monthly for 24 months, for your consideration.

You can call 1609 to sign up, thanks.

If we take up mio tv and singtel fibre can we use our own Asus router and will u help setup ? Or just use your own router or your mash router

And do we get access to freee channel like
Channel 5 & 8 and U & others too those free to air plus CNA ?

You can use your own Asus router but I do not think SingTel will help you to set up. Probably they will set up with the free ONR and AC Plus (or top up monthly for adding Mesh based solution ) and your SingTel TV. Since you are a new sign up, then you will get an ONR and you can use your Asus router as an AP, should not be difficult to set up , no need to mess with Vlan tag. You do lose the features of your Asus router though by using it as an AP.

You get free TV channels like CH5/CH8/CHU/CNA/etc.

Free to air channels are always free. The perk of using singtel tv to view free to air channels is that you’ll see it as a digital channel in FHD, and that you can remove any digital tuner if you are currently installing one before Dec 2018 ends.

Depending on which device ont or onr, and that new subscriber is always given onr, the set up for singtel tv goes to onr directly.

Your Asus or 3rd party devices will function as an AP.. for this, the installer can help u in his own accord, not compulsory for them to help you anyway..

ONR has router function. So the SingTel provided AC Plus will be act as AP. You do not need to use it if you want to use Asus router instead as the AP. Your Asus can be directly connected to the lan port of the ONR.

That is the advantage of the ONR, you can use pretty much any router (configured as AP) or AP to work with it. SingTel life is easier this way without worrying about Vlan or things like that associated with ONT.

That is also the main disadvantage of the ONR for power users who want to do more with their own router (not downgrade to AP function) since now they can not unless subscribed to the more expensive 1+1Gbps gaming plan. Some power users even left SingTel because of the ONR limitations.

Right now I like my ONT+Linksys WRT1900AC setup. But I personally do not mind getting the ONR in the future (say after my contract expires in Sept 2020).

What is your Asus router anyway?

Hi Singtel,

Currently i am on a old singtel tv plan, no contract, which has Jingxuan package and mio sports. If i recontract this with fibre broadband what would be the bundle price? For fibre bb, i would prefer the lowest plan of 500mbps or 1gbps (if this is minimum to qualify for bundle promo)l And promo plans need to sign up at sitex or any singtel shop can? Thanks.

Yes, go to LAN > IPTV > select isp profile (Singtel-others) on your Asus for mio to work.

Hi martin,

For the most updated promotions, may we suggest that you call 1609 for our sales staff to suggest the best value re-contract bundle options for your consideration.

Thanks.

I see. Asus AC86U is a very good router and it supports Vlan. Unfortunately as a SingTel new subscriber you will get the ONR and you have to use your AC86 as an AP. A bit wasted I would say. Still the WiFi performance of AC86U (AP mode) should be better than SingTel provided AC Plus. You gain a few more lan ports.

ONR got 4 Gigabit ports and two will be used for SingTel TV box and your AC86U. Two are free for you plug in other device like NAS or Android TV boxes or things like that.

You can also use the 4 Gigabit ports of your AC86U.

Keep the SingTel AC Plus as well to be a spare. It can be useful like to configure SingTel TV Go Remote app feature or during troubleshooting.

No point selling the AC Plus, cause people are dumping SingTel AC 1900/AC Elite/AC Plus at S$10-20 in Carousell.
