Any body else experienced this?

Install my MIOTV unsuccessful tell me router too old. will change the router. wait wait and wait also never set a reinstallation date.
next week call them... ask me say will call me back. 1 week passed.... monday some chap called me again and asked me if my installation is done. what are the singtel people doing? don't they talk? Asked them when they will install again the chap tell me to wait again. "when they are ready they will call me." 11 days have passed.

My bill is already showing the MIO TV details.
i am wondering if they are going wait till end of EPL next season before they install.
really crap service. Singtel really screwed up.

They delivered you the 2Wire yet? Use it.

Just curious to know. How does Singtel bring such high speed internet or even mio tv to users when they're using phone lines which is limited to 64kbps?

Ok, just did that. From what i digest, microfilter passes the data and bring its to the modem and ups the frequency, thus higher throughput?

hi i would to check. I understand that mio will provide a new line for the installation. I understand that this is free. If i am using this phoneline solely for TV purposes, do i still need to pay the quarterly singtel subscription for the phoneline?

thnx

no need ba. cos the additional line is provide mainly for miotv. if yr internet is 10Mbps, than bandwidth is not enough for both usage together.

phone able to use...but to use for net surfing, i required the userId and password which was not provided.

I'm currently on 10mbps plan on my old line but have to move my existing router out of my room cos they convert my room tel number to the new line. So if i can use the 1mbps ethernet connection to surf , i don't have to use my wireless connection which is laggy due to the distance.

so anyone manage to request for the 1mbps userid and password?

and also during the sign up for the mio tv BPL, i was offered the 2wire2700hgv modem (as on the contract), but on day of installation, they brought the aztech1000ER ethernet modem and installed it for me.

Can i bring the aztech modem to singtel for an exchange?
