actually more then 2times.
1 time when i upgrade to 10mbps come with miotv.
2nd time after i terminate the miotv.
3rd time recontract and come with miotv again.

i tink at least 3 times..

i dunno abt now..
last time i am told its not at singnet side
its at singtel side.
some of the cso even ask me to call singtel myself instead of singnet :s22:

always got a hard time explaining to them what is fast and interleaved mode and ask them to escalate the case to another dept.

from what u all say, look like their CSO now understand what ish fast/interleaved better liao.
tat time all blur blur reply..

yup all my request done over the phone.
the 1st time is a bit troublesome. tats many manys yrs ago. when they start to implement the interleaved thing(before tat everyone on fast :s22:). they send 2 senior eng over. from singtel side 1(both wear formal long sleeves clothes).. come my house tok to me.. then they call "someone" and switch and they did some testing on my side.

Technician just left. He dint really know whats DSL Channel when asked to change to Fast mode. He called backend then backend say i need call 1688.
Called 1688, they say what wireless thing? So i just followed to see what are they asking me to do.
End up they asked me to change wireless channel from 6 to 9 thats all.

When checked on broadband link channel, it still says interleaved.
Whats the wireless channel thing ar?
I thought its just to reduce interference?!

slight pauses in miotv

Modem Type:Built in modem - ADSLDSL Line (Wire Pair):Line 1 (inner pair)Current DSL Connection:DownUpRate:22342 kbs1021 kbsMax Rate:22332 kbs1199 kbs Noise Margin:8.5 dB9.8 dB Attenuation:10.7 dB4.2 dB Output Power:13.8 dBm 11.9 dBm
Protocol:G.DMT2+ Annex AChannel:Interleaved

hi the above is my modem stats, i'll like to know if anybody has experienced slight pauses of 2-3 secs followed by a bright backlit background behind the picture? something like the gamma level of the picture has been raised to max level all of a sudden lolol if i wait, it might pause again and then the picture will go back to the original quality and colour. miotv is working fine for me just that i will encounter this slight pausing and changes in picture quality. should i ask for the channel to be changed from interleaved to fast? will it solve the problem? i got new wiring with no broadband, just miotv itself on the new line.

My MioTV is up ! I took the wireless home connect package add $5+/mth..

However instead of the Comtrend Homeplug, I asked them for the Ruckus Wireless as I already have an existing Aztech Homeplug running on my powerline.

Free installation.. Never subscribe for the WC package.. only the Chinese Superpack at $20/mth.. :s13:

So far so good :D

But Guys! I was told if I want to get additional set-top boxes for my other 2 TVs, I have to get 2 more telephone lines + 2 modem + 2 Set-top box  Is this true?!

this is the downside of Mio solution...wahahah..

but once OpenNet project completes, the router will be the fibre router. No more limitation of stupid RJ11 telephone cables.

btw guys! I was told Singtel is trying out MioTV right from PS3 and XBOX but still facing alot of difficulties with hanging video etc.. We should be expecting them to bundle MioTV services with free PS3/XBox soon!
