yes, mobile line discounts and yearly mobile vouchers.

btw, Starhub's package has many hidden costs:

Starhub Surf & Watch (Fibre 100 Mbps) (6th month onwards - 24th months):

$62.37 (Broadband and 3 TV BASIC GROUP ONLY) + $59.90 (not mentioned in AD) + $6.42 (Set Top Box non DVR models, NOT MENTIONED IN AD)
= $128.69 per month!!
% Basic groups DOES NOT include FOX SPORTS, STAR SPORTS, FOX SPORTS PLUS, FOX MOVIES PREMIUM HD, FOX ACTION MOVIES HD, Thrill, Setanta Sports HD etc.%

For Singtel,

Action Gold Pack + Fibre Entertainment Bundle
Action Gold Pack+150mbps Fibre BroadBand+Digital Home Line FREE
$134.80 + $4.90 (Set Top Box non DVR models) = $139.70
After monthly $20 promo offer, it's
ONLY $119.70 per month
% Channels INCLUDES FOX SPORTS, STAR SPORTS, FOX SPORTS PLUS, FOX MOVIES PREMIUM HD, FOX ACTION MOVIES HD, Thrill, KIX HD, Setanta Sports HD, fashiontv HD, Fight Sports HD, FOX Family Movies HD, Sundance Channels HD, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, FA Community Shield, FA Cup and Capital One Cup etc.%

Obviously, Starhub's deal is WAY over-priced and less premium sports, premium movie channels........you pay more but get much less....who wants it?? :s22:

Yes u r right. I m sure ppl who know calculate will realise that. Super bo hua.

You forget that MioTV's quality sucks. Either you go online and no MioTV or you go MioTV but no internet access.

Forget about how the Mio service down when everybody watches the 2 EPL channels on the final EPL game in 2012-2013 season???

Why pay for something that does not give guarantee view of important match?

Never had any issues when on 6mps. Usually SH employees will just bad mouth them.

It was never down in the finals wat.

But if ppl want to give away money to SH, they can go ahead. :)

Have a question for those who have 4 Mio set-top boxes and other devices too. Do you all get a switch? Cuz the router definitely not enough for all wired devices.

Starhub Surf & Watch (Fibre 100 Mbps) (6th month onwards - 24th months).

1st 5 months FOC already factored in, but one has to cough out more in the long run, I.e 6 months onwards. SH is locking them in. IF BPL increases next season, SH will defend themselves n said prices not set by them bla bla bla, SH will happily collect their $60 odd n provide only basic group chs. :))

Sure you can watch them at the same time. Whether the past of blurry image, jerky TV like TVMobile in the initial days will change or not is yet to be seen.I don't think it is the first time Singtel kena fine for MioTV disruption, especially on important EPL related matches day.

Please don't so fast to give judgment. Personally I am on 6Mbps MioTV plan since 4 years ago with only the free 2 movies per month option. (Never re-contract). Problem is, whenever I download big stuffs that will utilized nearly all the 6Mbps, I even got problem watching Channel U on MioTV box. So, I had since kept the box in storage and forget about the free movies which I seldom watch anyways.

You sure are still living in the past.

The present is now. The future is tomorrow onwards.

The present you can want 4 channels in one on HD channel 101. No jerk, no blur, no like initial days of the past.

The future you can still want 4 channels in one on HD channel 101. No jerk, no blur, no like initial days of the past.

This is already seen last season and can be seen even right now, not what you say "yet to be seen". You obviously do not know what has been done and available. That's why still living in the past?

You should ask them to give you a free second line for mioTV. Yes FREE!!!

Then you have one line for your 6Mbps and another line for your mioTV.

But anyway, I am on 15Mbps and mioTV on the same line and use Internet and mioTV at the same time, no problem. When using both at teh same time, my internet speed drop to about 11 Mbps because 10 Mbps taken up by mioTV. My ADSL is provisioned at 21Mbps.

I don't think I missed HIS key problem. If you read HIS posts carefully, he kept bringing up the past.

Yes, there were problems at the end of 2012/1013 season and ST was fined $180mio for it. That's the past. Let go of the past baggages and move forward. This is how we can progress.

I do read your problem - "Even I don't switch channel also kena problem. Always jerk/hang when it matter most.. "

This is not normal, you should get ST to correct this. They will. When I reported my past problem, this is one question they repeated asked me. They explained jerky pixaleted image is a sign of a bad line and they will correct it.

My situation was different - a line that totally went very bad and was only spotted by a senior technician after 1688 tech support offered to sent one over and assured that a senior tech visit guarantee the problem will be solved.

The episode was documented at this few posts:
http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/i...singnet-10-mbps-3000935-110.html#post74008953

All ISPs will have line issue, be the ADSL, cable or even Fibre. We as consumers cannot avoid this. Even VQ, MR, SH, M1 have their line issues now and then. It is how they move to solve it that matters. For them to move to solve problems, we have to report until they are resolved and not accept the same unsolved problem as resolved.

Add in Starhub sport group will be extra $19.90. The thing is Starhub sport group got more variety of sport, like badminton, tennis, marathon, atheletics, swimming, sleague, Malaysia cup, triathon. Mio Sport only good thing is all the european league and cup.

You cannot just subscribe to one single channel. You can only opt for those given packages.
