Having miotv for several years.

Those thinking of channels subscription, drop these two useless channels.

Celestial channel 580 & 585

All movies re-cycle countless time.
They only pay a few titles and keep repeating. Knn think subscribers don't know.

This 2 channels no use. I rather you get SCM HD and SCM Legend (channel 571 and 573)

Thanks, will call them up.

Personally I feel the channels all quite boring, except for the 2 SCM channels. Maybe those Taiwan/HK channels also can, and the English documentaries (Nat Geo etc.)

You may want to use homeplugs to connect your mioTV to your internet modem. This is my current setup too in my home and works pretty well.

Sorry to bring up this issue now but was searching through some old pages but couldn't really find the answer.

The MIO soccer package i has subscribed to (under my sister account though) was like $20+ then suddenly in Feb i see an Action Gold package and that was $60+. It's not a mistake ah? Cos we don't remember having sign up for that package.

Called to cancel my mio tv to vote against their high handed way and now double price. A lady called and offered me to keep mio tv but cancel BPL and free family something for next 3 months off season. Told her I consider.

Then went to singpost to return my mio box to them last Fri. Haha feels good to vote them out with my dollars. Hope starhub comes.back with better promo next season. Else just watch streaming.

Yeah i can survive without EPL also. The high charges has kinda make me lose interest in soccer. Maybe must thank Singtel for it.

Hi guys, if I bring my mio tv box to my brother's house, can still watch it normally? Or is it tied to my house/internet?

When i wanted to renew my plan yest they claimed that they didnt received my set and demanded me to pay the penalty... 1.5 yrs ago how will i still be holding on to the receipt?

Keep demanding that you have return it. It's hard to prove now and i think they lazy to do more to investigate. I think if they insist, u should just not sign up with them again. Goto teach them a lesson.

So is it possible for singtel to advise customers to return the set at singpost? Just need to clarify this point... Anyway they have pissed me off i am going to switch all my plans over to the other svc provider.
