Thanks renfred89! I'm just hoping that I don't hv to use ADSL line for mio. Prefer both miotv and M1 Internet to be on fibre.

if u are not using singtel fibre then the only choice is to run ADSL connection via land line for your Singtel TV connection. That's my situation.

hi, just wondering if any mio tv users here using broadband connection have any issues with their signal? all my channels from singapore, korea and japan have frozen screen immediately upon changing channels. weird thing is channels from malaysia (astro) and indonesia are fine and have no problems. i'm suspecting it is broadband issue though i'm not sure. my internet is seperate, using singtel fibre and have no problems.

What do you mean by Internet is separate?

There shouldn't be any freezing issue at all. I using singtel TV for the last 2 years, nv froze before apart from the outage..

I was accessing WakuWakuJapan, a little bit of OhK and Chinese movies last weekend. No issue. Did you try restarting the box.
Access from Menu >settings>restart

Fiber broadband with SingTV no freeze at all during channel switch.

for me channel switch HD to HD (HD to SD no freeze) sometime would freeze but even if it does just give it 20-30 seconds would stabilise and rarely i have to restart modem/stb. This is on ADSL but thing is Singtel Fiber promos not very good and/or the bundle with TV for me not worth :(

On ADSL, if line noise level high definitely will freezed.

Some very old lighting switches when during ON/OFF may also causes spikes and ko the box.

Using fiber / do not experience
Buzzing sound so far.

If using cordless phone, try relocate base unit away from TV / router / and etc electronic devices.

If using landline, taichi to respective provider.

Or maybe your phone faulty.
