the black one was a standard price.
when it came out it was very common...

Alright thanks, shall keep a lookout on the cheapest available now.

Btw, does anyone knows how to "preserve" the sight to see series kind of boxes? Am getting some for friend but he's not getting it from me anytime soon. And based on previous experience, the boxes do get dent easily due to the empty space within.

As long as there is no weight on it, stacking em up should be ok I guess...keep the heavier ones below?

I dont have any problems with stacking 4-5 boxes. no dents.

nah. rilakkuma v1 n v2 u gotta find from on9 sources. i gt mine from on9 shops, albeit at carrot chop prices, but bo bian. v1 is alrdy out of production, v2 some shops still have. v1 seems like only simplynano got them.

And I will caution any hwz-ers from getting any v1 from them. Have gotten from them and the items came in horrible conditions. Wanted to get refund from them since I cant pass them off as gifts and they are pushing all the blames to singpost and arent refunding me.

Give me some time to update the whole story here. First time getting from local online reseller and it's gonna be the last time too.

See the photos above. How am I suppose to give it to my friend with there're stained cut tapes on both side of the boxes with dent. And they are insisting it's both their supplier and singpost fault, never theirs. Confirm not singpost fault, I even top up for a carton box to prevent any smash and they're like "oh the boxes aren't crushed. Its only a small dent and we cant refund you."

Before receive, say okay to refund, after receive back the items, all sorts of excuses start appearing. And continue blaming me on not checking thoroughly. Wth?! Still make me pay 120$ for these.:mad::mad:

I feel u bro. Mine v1 rila box condition was horrendeous, even worse than urs.

I was under impression the box was sealed, but when i opened e pkg  Box dented everywhere, signs of box being opened etc. the contents were still sealed thou, so i let it go.

I havent gt time to build it, so hopefully no missing pieces.

Because originally they wanted to post in envelope, if post in envelope sure all dent. But I'm giving to friend, so I told them I will opt to pay more for more better quality but end up still like that. They totally make me feel like importing nanoblocks and sell on my own sia.

to be fair. these blocks are really old...
and they probably stored them in some obscure storage...as such the condition of the boxes are bad...

but well, I think they should accord a discount given the condition of the boxes...

Thanks justmeasures for the suggestion, we shall consider that next time on a case-to-case basis. If the insistence is to have a full refund, I think we have a no-case here. To be honest, nanoblock boxes do warp overtime even when not stacked. Scotchtape do trap dust at the edges over time, but nothing too tough to clean up with some scotchtape and alcohol.

I will not be trying to debate/argue who's right or wrong here, but just attaching the email conversation so that it gives both sides of the story (all contact, account no, addresses have been masked) I think it is only just to have both sides of the story.

Sure, btw my address can still be seen from few of the smaller images. It will be nice if you can check through again and remove that. Thanks.

i was just wondering when u guys would say something about it. I guess you did. well done. :)

edit: I am a neutral party in this case. Being objective to both buyer and seller.

- I believe that given the age of the blocks, wear and tear is inevitable
- I am agreeable with premium pricing for the kits. After all, willing seller and willing buyer.
- $120 for the pair is too expensive to begin with. I can understand that a premium is charged due to the rarity/scarcity of it. But due to the poor condition of the box (due to whatever reasons), it should be accorded at a cheaper rate.

I sold my pair MSIB at $90.
