Hmm. The length is about 90cm? Not sure about breadth.

I don't know which sets I should get. Any recommendation?

What do you like to collect mostly? Buildings or vehicles?

If you want an accurate measurement, count the number of base plates of the set if it has one (Yamato for example).

One base plate is 20x20 when you count in studs.

For height, it is difficult to tell as each set varies, so you have to Google the set you want and see the photos by other collectors for a rough gauge.

Maybe someone who is familiar with deluxe sets can provide better advice.

I'm more interested in buildings.

I'm planning to collect a few sites/sights to see series. Any recommendation for challenging ones?

Wanted to get but it's too tall.

Getting it soon! Pre-ordered from one forum seller.

Edit: BTW, those who have tintin unicorn, is it worth getting it? I wanted to get one but the price is like :s22:

Looks beautiful and may be a great companion to your Titanic model.

Have you looked at other sources like ToyBrickStation?

Most Singapore online store like ToyBrickStation OOS but I found a Singapore ebay seller selling at 305. Quite reasonable?

my recommendation is not to get any at all.
because, for deluxe sets, you will get the "when you see it, you love it" feel.

but if you absolutely need to get 1, and at affordable (retail prices) none re-sale prices, then ask a friend to get either the Schloss Neuschwanstein or the Tokyo SKy Tree Deluxe (version 2) for you off the stores in Japan.

There will eventually be nice deluxe sets coming out in future.

$305 is a ridiculous mark up. but well, it's out of stock and I highly doubt the TinTin series will have a reproduction (it didn't sell very well...).

if you really really really want it, then I guess it's ok?

But shop like TBS also selling at around this price (now no more stock)

Plamoya selling at USD 280+ and once add shipping and convert to sgd is almost 400 so I think this 305 is really the relatively cheapest option left.

400 dollars and above will get the customs to slap a 7% GST tax on you, so you have to keep it in mind.

From the official Nanoblock website: the price of it is 17,850 yen, meaning it is about $214.57. The price could have went up since Japan changed its GST rate to 8%, and if the set is out of production, the price will go up even more.
???????????nanoblock

You can try looking at Japanese websites and do a rough gauge, and then calculate the difference in the markup price.

I'm not an expert in collecting, so it is best to ask the people who are more familiar with this set.

If all else fails, you can consider getting the Schloss Neuschwanstein or Himeji-castle?
