Standard still not so scary. Scary ones are the plus and prime projects. 2rm BTO minimum $229k for the lowest floor type 1 unit to $384k for the top floor type 2 unit. Average price is $300k for a god damn 2rm flat lol. If you buy as single still need to pay $15k extra.

Funny thing is singles still oversubscribed lol

to be fair, type 2 room 2 rm flat is actually quite big and enough for a couple to stay.

gahmen should consider making 2rm flat size smaller so that can build more singles. like some 2 rm flats can do away with the kitchen. but guess maybe they dont want the flat to be only limited to singles. as still quite a number of families still buy 2 rm resale to stay temporarily as they cannot afford 3rm.

330k is only 5 times of your annual pay so still quite ok

Anyone who wants it to be smaller should just straight up go for the shared single public accommodation, or consider HDB rental scheme instead of buying a BTO.

The 1st and 2nd timer only apply when the unit is oversubscribe.....

Undersubscribe unit, all applicant will sure get a unit but ballot/queue number is unsure....

Because, we like to have a cooking area aka kitchen,
you should see Condo 1 bedder and 2 bedder has no kitchen , cook at walkway after entering house - also less than 48 sq m.
1 room public rental flat was 33 sq m and now the elderly Community Apt is 35 sq m only.

Can explain why Yishun will become NA? It’s written right there that there is 10% flat allocation for this group leh (unlike the 2BR where the minimum allocated to seniors is 100 units which happens to be the total number for Sengkang)

• Second-timer families: 20% of 3-room flats and 10% of 4-room and bigger flats
• Seniors: 40% of flats (or minimum of 100 flats per project)
