I agree that Hdmi 2.1 is a good feature to have but the current Tv models available aren't fully ready for it yet.

For me, it would be better to wait and see what updates there are in future before investing in something that isn't fully optimized now

I think the LG TVs already have the full suite of features? Or at least I know my GX has them.

Looks like Gamewerks already has their PS5 on display in their store.

Encased in a fully sealed plastic cover. I hope the PS5 is not powered on and running games. Else, the unnecessary overheating issues seen on the US stores cos PS5 can't breathe. :s13:

Considering, there aren't much games running above 60fps on the PS5 now, it is a win-win situation. So sure. You can get this TV and hopefully get the fix in the future and enjoy 4K 120Hz.

I don't think that's wise. You would be paying a premium for features which "hopefully" get fixed. So if they take a long time/dont publish the fix, will you be able to get a refund? Not really win-win leh.

They do have the features but some have reported problems with stuttering or loss of signal on 4k120hz.

Like I said, having the features is one thing but being fully optimized is another.

Also checked with their delivery department, they explained that the tracking numbers will only be assigned on 19 Nov itself, so as of now they don't have details to share on the delivery.

Keep finger crossed will get notification by tomorrow for 19 Nov delivery.

If not will be a day later but anyway, recently is too busy with work, most likely only weekend got time to play.

is it more worth to wait for the pro?

:s13: based on PS4 and the Pro release date...its 3 years difference. And seriously , dunno who can tell u if its worth it or not unless he can see he future. :s13:

If the cost is of concern, maybe wait for sale or get 2nd hand.

PS4 - 15 November 2013
PS4 pro - November 10th, 2016

for me, there will always be something to wait for. if pro comes out, then you might ask yourself should you wait for the pro pro?

i bought 4 different PS4s since it launched and upgraded when the new one came out. so in the mean time, maybe just get whatever is released first?

Wa so exciting! Haha by noon you should be playing already! What's your first few games going to be? :s12:

Astro since they said that's where you'll get the feel of the dualsense controller. then Miles Morales followed by Control Ultimate Edition? :)

not a fan of Demons Soul or the other launch titles so i'll be playing those ps4 games that has the ps5 upgrades.

sadly for fifa21, no cross gen online play so i'll still be playing Pro Clubs with my team on the ps4

I think the LG TVs already have the full suite of features? Or at least I know my GX has them.

LG's approach is different to what most TV companies do.

Even their lowest end OLED range has all the same bells and whistles as their high end. Except the 8K resolution of cos.

So what LG does is more of an aesthetic change and maybe a better speaker though it will be better to get your own dedicated speakers and it will blow any TV speakers out of the water.

So you can get their C model and you will get the same processor, picture quality, features and of cos, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports as their top end range.

The differences are, as mentioned, aesthetics. So CX is more for the typical stand on a TV cabinet or mount on a wall with a VESA mount.
GX stands for Gallery. So it is to be mounted and flushed to your wall like a photo frame.
And then the other range are rollable displays and maybe a better speaker. That's all.

There's also an entry level OLED. The B series. But that has low peak brightness. So I will not suggest that.

Both the C9 and CX has the same features. Same amount of brightness as well. So yes, after the current firmware update, the C9 has 120Hz BFI and all the bells and whistles. But at 120Hz and if you are gaming, VRR is better than using BFI.
Motion is instantaneous. In a 1000 frame high speed camera that records every frame in 1 second, it took only 3 frames. That is less than 1ms. And the visuals are crisp. That explains why even at 240Hz on my BenQ monitor, I still experience motion blur when playing FPS games even though it was supposed to be clearer with its ULMB (BFI)

This video at the 3m 52s mark tells you why.
I have an IPS and LCD panel for both my 2 monitors. And true enough, the OLED produces the sharpest (obviously with its 4K display) but also the most clearest at fast moving motion (as you can see how clear and detailed that alien fast moving test shows) even though the TV only goes up to 120Hz.
That video is even comparing to a better 360Hz monitor. So no amount of LCD TVs which includes QLED can beat that.
