Me. The spring inside broke. You have to bring it in for repair as there’s no one-to-one exchange.

Anyway anyone got experience that dualsense R2 problem? I can start to feel that it is different with my L2. Can claim a new one? Or repair only?

Me too. I also once considered Prism/budget 4k but some folks say get an oled/qled instead. Then I started to do my own research and also got info from here (they reco hdtvtest etc and explained some tech specs) and I also looked into rtings.com, watched more videos on YouTube and read articles. In the end, I got myself an export set 55" Samsung QLED Q80T (less than 1.5k w/ 3 years warranty during Black Friday). Plus future proof with vrr, allm, hdmi 2.1 etc. Everyday play Demon's Souls - HAPPY.

One of my happiest purchases ever in my life.

When you watch 4K Netflix and especially play PS5 games....oh my, cannot unsee already. Just haven't tried watching an actual blu ray movie only (disc/digital) If you can afford and push budget further, you'll make full use of what PS5 can do/show, it's really worth it.

Try watch 4k netflix hdr on an OLED. The picture quality will wow u more.

OLED picture really very very impressive, even though peak brightness not as high as QLED.

i wa sstunned by the picture on my LG CX after booting demons souls up on my PS5.

Hope mini LED can catch up with OLED soon so that people need not worry about burn in issues.

Actually I did consider OLED as well. I watched another video of someone running GOT on OLED, the cinematic really wowed me with really dark shades and the contrast is so good that I open my mouth involuntarily. Lol. BTW I watched the video you shared before. However, I just cannot live with a possibility (even though very low probability) of getting a burn-in. Hence I went for a QLED. Peace of mind especially when you already spent money on it. Don't know about the tech too much but if some new tech or if OLED in future can eliminate the burn in issue, I'll definitely go for it.

What is the probability man!? Probably the same as an OLED getting a burn-in. Any settings you did on the TV for optimal gaming? I think hdtvtest has a demo on it...not sure.

Yea QLED still just a plain old lcd with a back-light that has dimming arrays.

The infinite contrast of OLED makes me change my Samsung TV to a LG.

I think this affects all PS5 owners beyond those that also own the X90H...i think the part he speculate abt Sony delaying VRR on PS5 because of this makes sense....:s22:

OLED in bedroom, normal LED in living room. Best combo for me.

Cause living room need bigger size, normal LED is ok.

Bedroom can pitch black, the OLED really can shine. Somemore no need too big, 55" is ok for bedroom. Same price as living room 75" lol.

i opposite from u.

My living room where my PS5 is, i am using the 65 inch LG CX. The 75 inch is too crazy expensive in Singapore at about 12 to 14k.

My bedroom i use a normal led lcd 65 inch tv for netflix if i wanna laze in bed to watch.

Let's hope sony release the allm & vrr update for ps5 soon, since likely this feature will available with 2021 TVs. So much for ps5 ready TV. I nearly bought this TV but after looking at Sony x900h reddit discussions and the recent 120hz fiasco. Most ppl agree that this could be the TV hardware/chip limitation & no software update will be able to fix it. Good lesson for TV buyers not to jump on buying any TV where features may not be available on the TV release.

Realized my controller R2 faulty when it repeatedly enter my login code when I wasn’t even pressing.

Came down to PlayStation Service Centre to replace spring. Thought will have 1-1 exchange. Not even sure when spoilt.

How long does it take to repair? Mine also got a bit problem, think will only go down when the problem get worse.

I check other country, they all have 1 to 1 exchange even first batch controller can exchange but no sure why singapore cannot exchange.

Same man, 2019 I tried to do so but not allowing to change. Not sure why. So now, I just buy a new one to make life easier. A waste but better for the mind.

I recently upgraded all my TVs to LG CX OLED ... Living room @ 65” and bedroom @ 55”... and really not regret, except may be the TVs are way too clear till can see people’s pimples and pores way too clearly on screen ... lol.

woah not bad. both also CX haha..

my bedroom i just get the cheapest 4k 65 inch smart tv i can find, which is the xiaomi 4s 65 inch. Since its 4k, netflix still look sharp and clear as well. I think i only bought it at $600+ after all the coupon discounts on qoo10.

If i compare the cheapest 4k 65inch at $600+ vs my 65 inch CX OLED which cost me near 4k, the picture quality of the OLED definitely is not 6 times better than the xiaomi haha..

Basically its just the black contrast of the OLED that make the picture pop on the OLED, but price/performance ratio, the OLED really is overprice.
