Well, wouldn't the game install straight from the disc instead of downloading?

Not entirely sure cuz out of touch for a while haha..

This is install size. Meaning files are already copied from disk or install files(if digital only).

After installation, Disk is only needed to check that you actually have the game.

Install size is the same regardless if you have disk or digital only PS5.

Need experts here de confirmation if popping the disc also requires huge amount of data downloads.

Example a game is 50GB. Developer release 5GB patch.

Disc: After installing data from disc, you only need to download 5GB.

Digital: You have to download 55GB. Base game 50GB + Patch 5GB.

doesnt matter either way. SG internet min 500Mbps. and the ssds wont be limiting download or install speeds.

U can buy gen4 nvme ssd later on. Sony will release a list tat works. Anyway now high end gen4 ssd very exp. Wait for the price to come down first.

The ssd inside ps5 is built-in. Cannot be removed. There will be a empty slot for expansion

Yep. Was thinking bout swapping out the SSD on my own also. This is something very important in the long run.
The stupid COD Warzone is already 170Gb+ (Excluding the campaign which I refuse to download).
