I heard some store allow you to purchase a ps5 at retail price with any sony tv purchased.

Since you are buying a tv why not get the ps5 at retail price?

You need to ask the salesperson instead of waiting them to offer you
Since ps5 is a hot item.

Oh you mean 65 inch. Anyway if buy from Sony direct is too expensive. Salesman usually can get it below 5k for this model. And LG c1 is better for gaming, where can get 65 inch for 3.5k. Can almost buy 2 x 65 inch oled Liao lol.

Most importantly, is that SONY TV future-proof ? HDMI 2.1, etc ?

[sHaDy69]

A8H has hdmi 2.1?

[Unic0rn]

A8H has hdmi 2.1?

No

[Unic0rn]

For those who want a Sony TV with HDMI 2.1 for an optimum gaming experience, you might want to look at the Sony X950H 4K LED TV instead, or the LG CX OLED if you demand OLED for your gaming TV. Both support the newer HDMI 2.1 standard, while all of the HDMI ports on the A8H are 2.0.

[sHaDy69]

Y don’t go for A80J instead of A8H?

I believe x950h don't have hdmi 2.1

[GotBetrayed]

A8H is older model, newer model A80J then have hdmi 2.1 support.

anyway…. Sony is overpriced unless you are really particular about movies, where maybe Sony is 5% better than LG. Gaming wise LG CX/C1/G1 is better than Sony oled.
