I placed a deposited earlier maybe Jan for Apr unit. The deadline went past, Gamewerks called up to apologise about the no stock issue and asked if I wanted to continue waiting or refund the deposit. At that time there’s like 70 ppl ahead of me. I thought i would have more luck getting from elsewhere. It was just a wrong decision.

I might be wrong but if you really need to get a PS5 just buy from shopee. Froget about carousell.

The controller of the ps5 is clean and slick and it looks like it is comfortable when holding it.

Since we are on the topic of controllers ....i just experienced the the dreaded analog drift on my controller's left stick....

Has anyone of you all had similar experiences, and whether should send back to Sony for replacement? My PS5 and controller still under 1 year warranty....

Again I got my controller R2 spring broke and another controller R joystick drifting. The service center replaced the spring and the drifting controller is new set replacement.

So just to clarify, if i go in with the issue of drifting controller, they will just replace with a new controller on the spot? Can share how they test the drifting?

It's almost end of the year and I still can't get my hands on a decently priced ps5
Anyone knows how smooth the ps4 games are on ps5?
The last PlayStation i had is ps1 and PSP, lols. so I've been waiting for ps5 as buying ps4 is kinda neither here nor there

The PS5 is a pretty big upgrade over PS4 in terms of loading speed and graphics. Obviously you can play most of the PS4 games. At this point, due to global components shortage, getting a PS5 is easily a better deal than getting a brand new PC, even with the scalpers raising the prices.
The global component shortage is going to last maybe for another year(actually it's getting worse), so you either have to actively find one from the online/retail stores (by luck), or pay more to scalpers.

I dunno how they test drifting as I unable to see how it was tested. But do remember to bring your receipt down.
