The only disappointment is seeing the FF16 release date Summer 2023. Which means FF7R-2 gonna be push further down the date, mostly likely to 2024.

Resident Evil 4 looks great! Hopefully Mercenaries mode is included. Had a blast playing as Wesker & Krauser back in the day, gunning for high scores to unlock Handcannon.

On a side note, its good to see more devs are finally starting to leave last-gen behind, to focus on current-gen hardware.

Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, Final Fantasy 16, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Gotham Knights, Forspoken, Alan Wake 2, Dead Space, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Wolverine etc. Many big games with no PS4 version.

Can anyone advise whether the SG PS Plus game list was refreshed with the additional games that JP got?

https://press-start.com.au/news/pla...-more-ps4-ps5-games-as-well-as-ntsc-classics/
Seems like the difference is significant, and I would assume that US PS plus will be getting the most comprehensive list. If so I'd probably stick to US PS Plus even though it cost extra, as I have been on it for the past 5 years or so.

I'm on deluxe, the classic list is the same as before.

i dont think so. Those Additional games are only for their region for the time being, same as US PS plus.

This round of State of Play is igniting some hype. Some of us here are stoked.

I'm elated to see RE4 Remake. It really deserves a remake. I remember it being a lengthy game with multiple different settings, village, swamp, castle, etc. and performing those roundhouse kicks to save ammo. It's the RE that changed the franchise with more action but maintains the classic survival horror vibe. Remember the mysterious merchant's voice? "what're ya buying, stranger?"

FFXVI & SFVI are on my radar too and I have some love for indies like Tunic.

But but but, why no announcement on Kratos and Atreus???????????? 🪓🏹

Anyone experiencing problems with PS Plus Cloud Storage? I'm unable to upload a save game file to Cloud Storage (it asks me to subscribe to PS Plus but I already have a subscription) and can't access Cloud Storage (CE-117773-6).

Recent State of Play focus mainly on third-party games & PSVR 2. Not first-party PlayStation Studios.

GOW will have its own State of Play (Just like HFW, GT7, Ratchet, Demon's Souls. All of them receive individual State of Play, showcasing just 1 game). If no delay, Ragnarok likely releasing in Sep/Oct.

As for the annual PlayStation Showcase, I think it'll be September again, same as last year. Thats where we'll get exciting reveal/announcements from first-party (Eg. Ghost of Tsushima 2 teaser, Last of Us Remake, Spider-Man 2 gameplay reveal, new Infamous, Sly Cooper).

Alongside major third-party like Silent Hill (Multiple titles reportedly in development). My wishlist is Uncharted 5, though its a long shot & unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't notice the 1st party exclusives are of individual PS SOPs. I always just watch trailers on YouTube after-the-fact. Hopefully one on Ragnarok soon.

I almost wanted to replay TLOU1 right after TLOU2 but refrained because of a possible TLOU Remake. I feel it needs a refresh, particularly on its AI among the other quality of life improvements if any. How I wish they come up with another title which focuses on the years between TLOU1 & 2. It would be nice to see Joel and Ellie together again.

which of the subscription plan for PS5 Plus should I get? Essential seems like a poor deal now if I can't access previous games "purchased" under the previous plan. Is Extra a safe bet?

Essential can play those given for PS Plus right? Just no access to the ongoing catalog of games.
