The Last of Us Part I and Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, RE4, RE2, Lies of P, Elden Ring, God of War series (GOWR is the sequel to GOW 2018, skip it if you don't like the first).

Haven't played HZD and HFW yet but a lot of people are saying they are very good. Just go for the first party games for a start. Yes, Astro's Playroom is fun and free, play it! Subscribe to the PS Extra, the catalogue has more than enough games for you!

Stellar Blade - fully recommend. A very high quality action game.

LOTU Part 2, they made it woke so it turned me off and I never finished it.

Ghost of Tsushima is a so-so game only.

RE4, RE2, RE3 are good remakes but if you have already played the originals, not a must play.

Elden Ring is a game of the year. But, if u don't like souls like games, it wont change your mind.

GOW didn't play.

Horizon series. Didn't play. I do know there is slight wokeness in it though.

Nier Automata highly recommend if you have not played it.

This is just a honest opinion of mine. It's subjective, as always. One man's meat is another man's poison.

This may even be premature to say since I haven't finished the game but I can already feel like it's not going to change my opinion much about SB. It's not a bad game but it doesn't wow me either. A bit like Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Finish then sell and probably not going to replay. I have no feel for a NG+ planned post completion, at the moment. Some side quests feel like fillers to me and it seems like everyone is found to be dead eventually then you just go back to the client to report and claim the reward which is roughly the same things. They also reuse the bosses for some fights in the side quests. I would appreciate if there are different attack variations or some new side quest bosses. I also have a bit of problem with the platforming as well, the swinging of ropes especially.

In contrary, the combat is great and satisfying. There are new skills to keep it fresh as you progress, burst skills, T skills, etc. I like that I can mix things up with a bit of gun play. There are also moments where they change things up, like use only guns, no soul edge and they added a bit of jump scares and horror vibe at some areas. I like the
tunnel sliding
and fishing! Not all side quests are bad though, like I mentioned before. There are a few good notable ones.

Yea SB is an average game imo, worth playing but not really great. Must play PS exclusives that I'd recommend are GOW 2018 and GOWR, the sequel is as good as GOW 2018 but there are very few new elements that set it apart from the prequel so there might be some fatigue if you play both games back to back.

LoU1 is a masterpiece, its a must play. I have mixed feelings about the sequel, the gameplay is better but narrative seems forced and meaningless, imo the story should have ended in LoU1.

I have played both HZD and HFW, didnt like them and I didnt even finish the second game, gameplay wise theres too much busy work (ubisoft) and narrative of the second game is very badly written, imo its just boring.

I don't really play the AC franchise. I've only played AC (boring) and ACII (didn't finish) but this trailer is pretty impressive......

the same can be said about blizzard games in recent memories

Agree.
LoU1 was a masterpiece.
LoU2 inserted woke themes into the story for no reason and therefore destroyed itself.

Sony is going for woke content for some reason. I hope things will be better after the new ceos takeover.

Mostly American developer's issue. Note that i didn't say other countries like JP and KR because they aren't really doing this woke (read as: really it's just not common sense) nonsense.

Not entirely Sony's bias per se but Sony does have some part (Stellar blade censorship ; minor though).

SE seems to have just cleaned house and fired all the North American woke staff!

To be fair, EU developer also woke. The funny thing is the woke people are not even their target audience. Is not like the woke people will support their game because of woke, it just piss off the gamers.
