I remembered getting the Sony Memory Stick 1GB for my PSP way back then and paid $300 for it. Now a 16GB microSD costs only $6.

Prices will always be expensive for the top end products, and will drastically drop within a year or 2 after release so don't worry too much.

I rem Sony did mentioned the supported M.2 SSD need to at least have the below specs, so those recommended in the link most likely won't make it:

PCIe Gen 4
M.2 specification
2230, 2242, 2260, or 2280 size
5.5 GB/s speed minimum

I foresee Sony releasing their own branded M.2 SSD for PS5, though likely to be expensive during launch.

As with all electronics, price will drop with time and with more SSD competitors on the market.

Everything is perfect, just that the ssd is onboard sia. If it's faulty will it be able to boot from that spare PCIE slot ssd?

As I noted previously, the side panels can be easily removed.

Those wanting pure black edition just spray paint the panels accordingly.

Looking at how compact and tightly the internals of series x is packed, would say PS5 will have better airflow in general. Is like comparing a mini ITX case with an standard ATX tower which latter will definitely have more room for air to flow through.

yes, but its not a fair comparison

PS5 is using direct cooling and heatpipes and series X is using full vapour chamber.

i think that they're both engineered well.

long ago bought it on ps4...the servers were atrocious and i forever can't connect to any games,.....other multiplayer games on my ps4 had no such problems.

I believe they should sell games on actual day. However, it is a bit puzzling that till today, preorders for most PS5 games are still not available in retailers yet. (excluding export copies). So far the confirmed ones for preorders are only Miles Morales non ultimate and Sackboy.

I took the bite and preordered other games like Demon's Souls, AC Valhalla, Miles Morales Ultimate and Sackboy from Amazon instead. At least i will have my games reach SG in time for our Console launch on 19/11.

Its quite similarly priced.. and has the pre-order guarantee too.. The only drawback is it doesn't have free-shipping, not even with Amazon Prime. However, total shipping costs only adds us to be less than $10, so still ok. At least I know I'll be getting my games in time for my console since they ship out from US at their launch (12/11).

Those loyal fans won't be left behind, as NetherRealm offers a free upgrade. So I'm not sure if the complaint & backlash is warranted.

PS4 owners can access a free upgrade to the PS5 version of their game, at no extra cost.

For those who purchased Aftermath DLC, it'll carry over & upgrade to the PS5 version (Likewise for players with the vanilla base game who didn't buy any DLC characters, they're also able to access the free upgrade to the base PS5 version. Without any playable DLC characters since they didn't buy it).

The only new additional content is Kombat Pack 2, which is optional. Nobody is being forced to buy KP2. The option is simply there for those who wants to buy the 3 new characters.

No free upgrade = People complain (Slightly justified)
Free upgrade = People also complain (Ridiculous & doesn't make sense)

Purchased the logitech g29 wheel at about $280+ after some discounts and stuff. Bought the same next level wheel stand for $100 n carousel. 2nd hand but still mint condition

Tommorow plan to purchase gamepass and test the wheel on my pc. Gamepass only $1 for first month of usage. Test on forza.

I see normal shipping also take ard 7-8 working days, might not reach by 19 Nov? Unless u choose priotized shipping?

From past experiences with Amazon shipping, they usually deliver before the estimated shipping days. I am quite certain you can get it in time since they will likely ship the games even before 12/11. If you are worried, feel free to opt for the priority shipping.. difference is not a great deal tbh..
