Just wanted to share this for those thinking of getting oled display (I am thinking hard which TV to buy next). My screen is about the same as his.

Ouch, that's the reason I went for Samsung Qled instead, so far being almost 3yrs, picture quality have been perfect and no burn in issue.

Those burn in are mostly the older OLED TVs.

The recent OLEDs is harder to get burn in with all the mitigating features. OLED still win Qled in picture quality

That’s provided you view full screen of one color. But what are the chances movies/tv show/games etc display one color for, say more than 5 sec?

So i guess unless u intentionally want to find out if there’s burn in, then u will see it. Else i guess no one will even notice.

Those high end android phones also using amoled. Similar to OLED technology. Basically u wan premium picture quality, go for OLED. The black colors are perfectly black giving rich colour contrasts

Qled only simulate black but its actually a very dark grey because there's a backlight which make it not achievable to show real black. OLED pixels can be turn off to really give a black screen

Ehm..if it is burn in that bad in video..normally its like a image retention of e.g. game UI. it will be obvious..

Ehh, there are many and easy ways to prevent burn in.
All OLEDs are capable of having burn-in, doesn't mean it's easy to get it.

The risk is too low to be even concerned about if you're going to use a TV normally, even so when gaming.

My 4yrs old LG oled so far no issue.3 to 5hr daily use on gaming,Netflix and movie.

The odd thing is mine is 2 image. One division 2 loading logo (haha...) And a rectangular box which covers about 60% of the screen in the middle no idea how I got the latter one.

Tempted to get these PS4 versions as it is cheaper lol

Yea, why not, go for it since it features free upgrade to PS5. The $10 premium for better resale value maybe 2 yrs down the road isn't worth it. Even as you sell it 1 yr later, PS4 version is still relevant.

Been thinking about whether to buy Ghosts of Tsushima now (25% off in the SG PSN Store) or wait I can play it on PS5 with 60 FPS. Main consideration is that I'm busy with work now and likely can't play anytime soon, but don't want to miss out on the sale too haha.

Anyone else in same boat as me?

I’m still thinking if I should sell off my PS5. I already have confirmed receipt from Sony for Day 1 collection.

Have no interest in Horizon. Only keen on COD Black ops & Cyberpunk. Which both games have not confirmed actual date of a PS5 version.

I only interested in ps5 because dont have ps4

Going to catch up on ps4 exclusives + demon souls only.

Rest of the cross plat games, going to get XSX for xbox game pass w pc and play anywhere.

99% chance there will be another sale when ps5 launches or BF.
