There is a youtube video released yesterday discussing about this ad issue and many commented because of this they will sell/dump their PS5, Sony is super evil, become PC gamer blah blah blah.

Must be the MS shills coming out at full force. 😁
I stumble upon this when Tom Warren was highlighting Xbox starts doing fullscreen popup adverts. And what were the high response comments? Playstation is worse blah blah blah....
Your prefer console has fullscreen ads and all you can do is point finger at playstaion? This is part of the reason Xbox is in such a mess right now! They've been feeding themselves with too much BS, and never seek to improve.

It's interesting Konami picked the 3rd mainline game to remake first. Though it makes sense as chronologically, Snake Eater is the first in the timeline (Set in 1960's). Perfect entry point for new players who had never played MGS.

Legendary franchise, among my all-time fav. Great cast of characters & story, though it can get convoluted & self-indulgent (especially the long cinematic cutscenes), a trademark of Hideo Kojima. Controls & the fixed camera angle are very dated though, which will be improved & modernised in the remake.

I've always preferred the Solid Snake games though, compared to Big Boss/Naked Snake.
If memory serves me right, I think Ocelot is the only character in the entire series to appear in all the main games MGS1 - 5 (Excluding PW & GZ). Double-crossing son of a gun.

Wonder if they'll do Peace Walker next, or jump straight to remakes of 1, 2 & 4.
3 & 4 are my favourites. I actually like the freedom to use anything in your arsenal as you progress and unlock, for MGSV. I remember buying GZ at $45. You want to play it loud or "Quiet"-ly (gorgeous) sneak your way through, it's up to you. Despite that, I haven't completed it till date. Think I was hopping onto another new game and didn't come back to it. The series' story is kinda confusing sometimes, I'll need to watch/read the lore online but hands down to the gameplay. Had a blast.

I watched my younger bro play MGS 1-3 (multiple times sometimes as he wants to unlock stuffs) when we were growing up but I only got to play it myself during the PS3 era. Remember the MGS HD collection, anyone? I didn't get to play it on the OG PS & PS2.

And now Kojima productions are developing the espionage title (back to what they are good at) Physint, what lies ahead in the future????????

Guys. I remember once a year, Sony will sell their dualsense cheap (around 70+ if I'm not wrong).

May I know which month is it? My launch dualsense drifted and looking for a replacement. If it's far away then I'll just use shopee voucher to get one.

Can find carousell people to change it to Hall effect if you interested. It’s cheaper and your controller will be back in good shape

Maybe you're referring to the sales during '11.11 Festival', in early November last year. Discounts across PS5 consoles, DualSense controller, Pulse 3D Headset & selected physical disc games at retail.

There has been conflicting information on this, but according to techradar.com, it seem Sony has confirmed it. The cover plate of the slims will fit the Pros. The newer vertical stand fits across different ps5 models.

Update: techradar.com has remove the post.(thanks to @Deathshadow)

The chart is showing a disc cover plate. The pro only available in digital. Maybe that's why...🤔
But pro also can add disc drive and also the slim cover plate also comes with both disc drive and flat plates….

I have just beaten Astro Bot and it's so fun! I think it's a must play especially if you have been playing PlayStation consoles (& the big exclusives) all these years. That nostalgia and fond memories of the games series and exclusives. The obstacles course stages are challenging enough for a great kick (but not too extreme) and I enjoy them a lot. Bosses are all different and unique. Secret stages and items to find, bots to save, and encouraged to replay some stages to find everything.

To be really honest, there's never a dull moment for me. With all the DualSense's haptic feedback and soundtrack, it just elevates this 3D platformer. After the memorable ending, I'm at post credits now to get the remaining collectibles and also finding the remaining stages, working towards the Platinum.

Moreover, there will be a free DLC (5 speedrun levels) during the year end. Ahhh, what a fun and happy game!

Wording on PS Blog was ambiguous. Hence the conflicting reports, with no definitive answer for now.

'Swap out console covers when they become available' seems to imply Pro cover plates is different & not out yet, and will be available at a later date.

However in the same blog post, it's confirmed that Pro & Slim has the same width, which likely means it's compatible with both models. Looking at photos, the cover plates does look to be the same size to me.

Release is just around the corner. We'll find out soon enough.
