Wah... how many more still with HN? Went to HN Miillenia Walk and ask. The guy honestly tell me to get the refund. He said by the look of it, check with warehouse about stock till date no incoming PS5. He also sian ppl keep asking about this PS5 order.

I just feel that they shouldnt ask us to pay first cos it creates an impression that we will get our ps5s.
I think they will get stocks wan, its just that they shouldnt sell more than what they can get. Learnt my lesson also not to preorder from consumer electrinics giant like HN, courts or Hachi. Just freaking get from GM/shoipeetre/tog/playe

Think you need to wait quite a while. Even sony themselves stop taking in waitlist. Hearsay, there are about 600 on waitlist and per release only 100 sets. So estimated 6-8mths lor

Does anyone know if throwing away the PS5 box has any real disadvantages for us? Cos I plan on selling the box *ahem* disposing the box and I don't want to find out later that if I want to send something back to repair it has to be sent back in the same box.

the issue is only HN as they failed to manage PS5 pre-orders. i pre-ordered mine at Courts on 18 Sep and my PS5 was delivered on launch day, 19 Nov.

Best to po from retailers like shopitree or sony store or gamemartz etc as most of their biz depends on selling consoles n games. At least chances is great. Those electronic shops selling games n consoles is just a tiny part of their earnings.

Big ticket items usually kept boxes for 7 days is for 1 to 1 exchange with the shop. In this case, I doubt Sony have a spare set to exchange even if your unit fail in the 1st week.

Warranty claims just register online and keep your receipt will do lah.

I send my dualsense controller for repair last week and they request for invoice and the barcode on the box.

So better to take a photo of the barcode before throwing the box out.
