i have a budget maybe 1k but willing to top up abit if theres a need too.
for a 55inch tv.
what can you recommend? colleague recommend the prism. looking at 4k to enjoy graphics for ps5/4
confused with all the terms uhd/qled/oled/nanocell.

Top up a bit and get a LG C1. It's last year's model so might be hard to find. If no stock get a C2. Its very worth it. Don't waste money with prism and all that nonsense.

You can check them at the brands' website under TV specs.

I myself had bought the LG C2 which I think is the best gaming TV. You may want to consider it too though the 55 inch would cost at least $2.1k which is a lot higher than your budget of $1k. A review video below for your reference. You can also check out the TV forum for recommendations.

I suggest if you're just into casual, platform games can opt to TV.
If those fps/competitive better use any good gaming monitor. 27-inch is perfect for your eyes and distance.

you can play the ps4 version on ps5 but no free upgrade for fifa 22 standard version unlike fifa 21.

can google for the differences between the ps4 and ps5 versions.
