I saw the new Chroma Dualsenses in Challenger store yesterday, but they sell at full price, no promo.

That is why guide books and game magazines are so essential back in the days.

Still have hundreds and hundreds of game magazines in my house and also my parent's house, even though many years back right before moving house I threw away a whole bunch of them.

Not sure why the disc drive unit OOS for so long, maybe Sony caught off guard not expecting the PS5 Pro annoucement to have any impact on the drive's sale.

I think the days of heavy PS+ discounts are over. Sony will likely just target attractive discounts at non PS+ users to sign up, and for existing members maybe at most 10% off?

Really hope I'm wrong about this.

I wonder any of you guys here own the Slim Disc Edition and bought the Pro and use back the Slim Drive?

From the postings here so far looks like all of you like me had the 1st or 2nd version of PS5 with non swappable drive.

If you can wait a bit for the disc drive you can try calling the Sony stores. I placed a full deposit last Friday with the Holland Village outlet to secure a unit. Stock expected to arrive in mid-December.

From the postings here so far looks like all of you like me had the 1st or 2nd version of PS5 with non swappable drive.

I would be doing that IF I'm getting the pro down the line(be it used or new), and leave the slim as digital(for jailbreak eventually).
I also notice most of the people here seem to go from FAT to PRO.
