now that DOP is here, is anyone subscribing to the premium plan..? i wanted to go for extra initially but after the discount its only like a 5 bucks difference..?

but in the future after my sub stacks are used up, can i downgrade to a lower tier at the discounted price too?

trying to time my sub around DOP so nx time easier to get the discounted subs.

btw those interested in the Dualsense Edge, nao ish the best time to buy. Online stores like Courts or Sony don't let you use discount codes and those sold in Lazada/Shopee are export sets marked up like hell.

i think now can also hoot an extra controller at the discounted price? i saw 2nd hand ones also going for around $80...might as well get it during this time.

i planning to hoot normal controller + TLOU 2 Remastered.

Elden Ring Nightreign got a 77 on Metacritic, I think this is the lowest rated Fromsoft game in the last 2 decades. Had a hunch this game was going to suck, looks very "cash grabby" to me.

Hey guys, my launch-day PS5 is running into an issue recently......it kept auto shut down after booting up.

I checked up the error code, which is CE-108262-9...and it seems like itz got to do with some SSD issue.

The system already rebuilt the storage database a few times but it keeps failing.

Has anyone of y'all encountered this before?

Try removing usb hdd n additional ssd if the error happen again.

I had similar error but forgot the error code, turned out my ssd had problem and got it RMA-ed

Ok ur right - it is my SSD problem. Removed it and the PS5 is now running fine.

My SSD is the WD_Black SN850, which i bought from Amazon US back in 2022....can RMA in SG or not ah?

If not, any recommendation for the best value for $ SSD to buy now? I see Samsung 990 Pro w/ Heatsink @ $210 from Amazon like quite popular...

i changed to 990 pro 4 tb, bought here locally in lazada. It’s quite reasonable for 469sgd now, directly under samsung official store. I bought it for 438 on march 2024 with voucher.

if the difference is not much, better buy it locally here with samsung official store in shopee or lazada. U can wait for 6.6 promo, in few days time.

Haiz, Sandisk SG replied me and confirmed cannot RMA in SG. I emailed Amazon and they asked me to go WD svc centre @ Toa Payoh to try - dunno whether to even bother or not. Later wasted trip.....

I'm tempted with the 990 pro 2tb now....around $230 after some vouchers.....i shall tarek till 6.6 and see if there's any other better offer.

Update: Again......many games incoming but not enough time!

Nioh 3 caught me by surprise but it is a very pleasant one. Having played Nioh 1 and 2 (some more played them as PS+ monthly free games), I'll be excited to play this in 2026. They have included a Ninja-style in the 3rd installment and it's more explorative. And a demo is available now!! (The moment you see the Yokai's glowing horn....then *gasped!*)



More Yotei to watch in July.



Silent Hill f looks quite impressive and it's coming Sep 25 this year.



As we all already know, MGS Delta is coming this Aug.



Also surprised to see FF Tactics Ivalice Chronicles.

Hopefully there are more Shells to play with and a much larger world. It seems like there are more boss fights and they look brutal with that metal soundtrack behind. Saw some parrying and long range/projectile weapons.

Wanted to play Overture but busy these days...have to find some time. 1 hour per night?

There's definitely alot of good things in the 1st Mortal Shell to build upon to the 2nd title. One thing I really hope they improve on is the design of the world map. The 1st one was so confusing I have to look for maps online, just to navigate around more efficiently.

I don't play as much as you. Demon's Souls Remake on the way. Still want to catch up with Lies of P, and Elden Ring (by this year, hopefully).....then bump Khazan up the list....

1st Mortal Shell was quite good just glitchy for some parts for me.

Now, I'm like so busy until I can only play Nioh 3 demo. But well, need to manage it and find pockets of time amidst all commitments. Good, hope you enjoy Demon's Souls Remake (it's so good, so satisfying to do the visceral attack). I wonder if they will apply the same treatment to the entire Dark Souls series! Yes, Lies of P Overture too.
