Paul aht is semi dividend right? So nothing to be excited about

Regardless of distribution frequency, results (and distribution quantum) are announced quarterly.

Excited or not is up to the individual investor. Personally I'm never very excited about it. :)

Good to know excitement may cause some irrational n impulse investing

Aims or Suntec? would like to reinvest my div, tq

Both have future catalysts.

AIMS has the new property at 20 Gul Way.

Suntec renovations will be completed next year.

AIMS yield is higher than Suntec though.

I will choose AIMS. :D

Hi guys, do you all recommend buying a stock after XD or when it's gonna announce CD? Will the price normally drop a lot after XD?

You are jumping the gun, my fren.

Before u decide to buy any stock, u must first do your own research and due diligence. :)

There is no hard or fast rule on the timing of entering a stock. Sometimes, a stock might drop before announcing CD. Sometimes, a stock can even rise after XD.

So, just enter at a price that is comfortable for ur own risk level. :D

I prefer buying 1 month before it announces CD and add more after XD.

Thanks for your input!

I've been doing some research on my own, just that when I was researching weeks ago, the price was only 1.25, and now it has increase by quite a bit. And the rise was probably due to the CD coming up, so i'm unsure if I should get in after XD with hopes of it dropping to the 1.2x level.

(PS, currently deciding to get either K-reit or FCOT, tho K-reit gearing is pretty high, but it's assets quality r better and both r ard the same price)

Thanks for ur advise DW - 'price that is comfortable for ur own risk level' has enlighten me:)
